Zeraora first appeared in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Now it’s back in the Mega Dimensions DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
Where to find Zeraora¶
This is a real tricky one. You must’ve completed the postgame DLC mission “The Greatest Gift”, where you catch Rayquaza. You must also complete Side Mission EX1 
Shine Bright like a Gemstone and Side Mission EX2 
Project M, obtained after receiving the 
Diancite, 
Mewtwonite X and 
Mewtwonite Y from Mystery Gift.
Buy Canari Bread from Tarragon
Give it to the boy at the Vert Sector 3 rooftop
Head to Racine Construction and go inside. Speak to Tarragon and buy one Canari Bread (one available daily). Next, head to the roof of Vert Sector 3. There’s a Holovator to the south, east from Wild Zone 2. On the roof, there’s a boy who’ll trade items. Trade him the Canari Bread for some Popping Candy.
Take the Popping Candy to Ansha at the reception of Hotel Z. You’ll get a recipe for the Plasma-Glazed Donut. This will require a combination of berries that yield:
- 40 Sweet
- 200 Spicy
- 400 Sour
- 280 Bitter
- 40 Fresh

You’ll receive a sidequest from Emma
There’s a few combinations that work. For example Hyper Kasib Berry x4, Hyper Chilan Berry x3 and Hyper Babiri Berry x1. These can be obtained from 4-star and 5-star Hyperspace portals.
Once you’ve made the donut, you’ll receive a call from Emma and begin Side Mission EX3 Raging Lightning.
Head over to the Vert Pokémon Center east from Hotel Z. Then run over to Emma. Once you’re ready, use the Plasma-Glazed Donut to enter the yellow Hyperspace portal.
Mega Zeraora
Zeraorite mega stone
Inside, you’ll face a Level 200 Mega Zeraora. It’s a pure Electric type, so Ground types would be ideal. Compared to the likes of Rayquaza, it should be fairly straightforward.
Succeed and you’ll be able to catch the Zeraora, while also obtaining its Zeraorite mega stone. Thus concludes this mission!
