Where to Find Eviolite
Mega Shards Farm Locations
Leveling up Pokemon in Pokemon Legends ZA can be a grind, especially when you’re switching team members mid-game or need to train up a new Pokemon for late-game side missions. Luckily, there are a couple of efficient XP farming methods to get your Pokemon battle-ready fast.
On the other hand, you can find Colorful Screws on the map, which you trade to the builders in the southeast corner of the map for Plushies, like this red EXP farming Plushie. Image via Gamer Guides / Nintendo.
You can spend your Mega Shard son EXP Candies if you’d lie for some early - to mid game power leveling. Image via Gamer Guides / Nintendo.
Mega Shards to EXP Candy Method¶
The fastest way to level a single Pokemon is through the
Mega Shard farming route. This method involves collecting Mega Shards around Lumiose City and converting them into Small XP Candies at Quasartico Inc., which unlocks during Main Mission 10. Here’s how it works:
- Farm Mega Shards around Prism Tower - they respawn fairly quickly
- Check the shopping center roof near the middle of the map for additional shards
- Collect
Colorful Screws (glowing purple Pokeballs on scaffolding and rooftops) - Trade Colorful Screws at the construction site near the station to buy the
Pink Canari Plush charm, which dramatically increases Mega Shards per node - You can also buy a
Red Canari Plush charm for more XP to further boost your gains - Trade shards at Quasartico Inc. for Small XP Candies - you’ll walk away with around 20 small candies or 7,000 XP per farming loop.
We have an interactive map for other areas we know span big clusters of Mega Shards, alongside the Colorful Screws to help you get the screw rewards. We also show where to get EXP candies too on the map. Some grant level ups, which are best used for later level XP level ups. You can also find smaller or bigger EXP candies around the map too, which are better earlier on. Feel free to check out Gamer Guides’ Pokemon Legends ZA Interactive Map to find such candies or Mega Shard hotspots.
This method is excellent for early to mid-game leveling, especially when you catch new team members that are significantly underleveled. When you start reaching level 30 odd it does get somewhat harder to do, thanks to needing a much bigger EXP per level for each Pokemon. From there, battling is needed.
Wild Zone Battle Method¶
For more natural XP gains while exploring, you can battle wild Pokemon in Wild Zones. Pokemon that are up to 7 levels below your current Pokemon still give decent XP, making it viable for passive leveling.
This is especially important for post-game content where side missions require you to train specific Pokemon to certain levels before challenging NPCs. There are plenty of missions where you need to train Pokemon to certain levels to progress them after the main story, making efficient XP farming essential.
Wild Zones are fairly effective and rapid for pokemon leveling, but, if night time comes, don’t ignore battling other trainers in Battle Zones. Thanks to being able to sneak up and do challenges, you can find some that suit the pokemon you’re leveling. Feel free to use your Pokemon to counter other trainers with sneak attacks. Or, use your over leveled Pokemon to beat others up and let your other party Pokemon get some XP passively when your pokemon is close to renting. Do not let it faint at all costs as you wont get XP for it unless you use a revive on it.
