Jacinthe is one of the late game main story missions at Mission 30. You will need to beat her to progress your Pokemon Rank up to B, which is a main part of the Royale. However, she has some very high level Pokemon, with a strong mix of types that require proper team planning to beat. Here’s a look at the best Pokemon to use to beat Jacinthe in Pokemon Legends ZA.

How to beat Jacinthe

Unlike a lot of other trainers, Jacinthe actually has 5 Pokemon she will use against you. So, you need to play your party right if you want to beat her. Below is the Pokemon list and order she uses:

Pokémon Level Counter Types Recommendations
"Carbink" iconCarbink 57 Water and Ice "Blastoise" iconBlastoise is a great fit for the water and ice counter. It can also learn a few Steel moves via TM Moves like "Iron Tail" iconIron Tail, "Flash Cannon" iconFlash Cannon if you wanted those too.
"Aurorus" iconAurorus 58 Fighting, Steel The easiest choice here is "Lucario" iconLucario. That is both Fighting and Steel is a perfect option to counter it easily
"Mawile" iconMawile 58 Fire and Ground "Camerupt" iconCamerupt is another perfect counter for this battle. It is both Ground and Fire, so there are enough moves to really hit the enemy hard and easily counter it.
"Gardevoir" iconGardevoir 58 Ghost and Steel We have another perfect counter with the use of "Chandelure" iconChandelure as that is both Ghost and Fire Type. So you have another full moveset to counter the enemy. Though there are plenty of Fire and Ghost types you likely have to use if you don’t want to grind this Pokemon up to be boss battle ready.
Mega "Clefable" iconClefable 59 Steel, Poison Sadly there is no combo to be a perfect counter. However, we recommend avoiding using Steel and Fighting or Poison and Bug type Pokemon. It means no early game starter bugs, or "Lucario" iconLucario for this fight. Outside of that, use any of those specific types. If you’ve hard countered everything up to this point, regular battles will likely be fine using the rest of your party you’ve been passively farming XP from it.

Hopefully, these suggestions help you work out how to beat her in the main story and you can move on. Chances are you have something that can easily counter, even if you don’t want to target farm some of the Pokemon on the list. You can beat it with not perfect counters, but as long as you have a Pokemon that can do the 2x or 4x super effectiveness damage, then you’ll be fine.

If there’s any Pokemon you need from this list, check out our Pokemon Legends Z-A Interactive map for the Wild Zones, TM locations, or other Pokémon locations.
