Pokémon Legends ZA is 2025’s new Pokémon game,. and players are fining that game is centered around the new mega evolution for lots of different generations of Pokémon. The result is there’s plenty of new combos to try in your party. however, to get the various mega Pokémon, you will need to unlock the Mega Stones.

Mega Stones in Pokémon ZA are an item you can give to your party. Each one requires their own unique stone, which will enable it to Mega Evolve during battle. As you battle, you’ll gradually fill your mega meter, and then use it in battle to transform that Pokemon for a period of time. This will often grant new abilities, types, or major stat boosts while its active. Many will also get a form too. So, if you want to engage with the mega evolution feature, you need to find the mega stones for your Pokemon

How to get all Mega Stone in Pokémon Legends ZA¶

There are well over 50 different Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends ZA. Each one has different unlock requirements. As you play through the game, you’ll gradually get Mega Stones by either completing main story missions, getting them from defeating boss enemies, or unlocking them at a vendor. You’ll then be bale to buy some Mega Stone from the Quasartico Inc company you meet in Mission 10. Alternatively, some you can buy with money from the Stone Emporium too, with more unlocking as you progress through the game. These will cost different amount of Mega Stone or money, with some costing 160, 240 or 320 Mega Stones, for example.

Other end game Mega Stone will unlock by completing the infinite royale. These are end game battles you can partake in. Getting different amounts of wins unlocks the mega stone for some of these Pokemo. if you’re a collector, then you’ll need top engage with the end game battle after you complete the main storyline.

As for the earliest Mega Stone, you are first introduced to a Mega Evolution in Mission 9. Every player will get Absol as their first Mega Evolution. The second comes at mission 10, and is based on what Starter Pokemon you choose. This will either give you the mega stone for Tepig, Chikorita or Totodile, depending on what you chose. You’ll need to level them to lvl 30+ before evolving their last evolution, which you can then us the Mega Stone for those starter Pokémon.

Lastly, Nintendo are adding new Mega Stones as rewards for the seasonal PvP content. At the time of writing, we are in Season 1, so Greninja’s mega evolution is the mega stone reward. We know the next two coming in other seasons.
