Where to find Froakie in Legends Z-A
Where to find Chespin in Legends Z-A
Fennekin is one of the starters in Pokémon X and Y alongside
Froakie and
Chespin. All three can be found in Pokémon Legends Z-A.
There are two ways to obtain Fennekin.
Side Mission 008 Get Well, Fennekin¶
Side mission location
Once you start getting side missions, head over towards the center of the city, where Prism Tower is. Then go north-west a bit. Among some buildings, there’s an injured Fennekin with a woman next to it: Map Marker
You’ll be tasked with finding a herbalist, who’s sitting outside Café Classe, along the street south from Prism Tower. He’ll direct you to Wild Zone 5, where a
Revitalizing Twig may be found.
Head here to find a secret passage to Wild Zone 5
Run to avoid the alpha Whirlipede
Don’t go to Wild Zone 5 directly. Instead, we recommend heading a short distance north-west. There’s a small block of buildings, with some stairs inside to the north. You can enter via the west side. There’ll be some purple sludge, which you can clear with Water moves: Map Marker
Head north to find a tunnel that leads to the east side of Wild Zone 5. Be wary of a wild Ariados along the way. When you reach the open again, there’ll be a bunch of
Venipede and a high Level alpha Whirlipede.
Run around, inspecting the red glowing spots until you find the Revitalizing Twig. Then take it back to the Fennekin. This will conclude the side mission and you’ll nab yourself a Fennekin!
Wild Zone 18¶
Climb this scaffolding
Fennekin on the rooftops
After completing Main Mission 30, Wild Zones 18 and 19 will unlock. Fennekin can be found on the rooftops of Wild Zone 18: Map Marker
To reach it, climb the scaffolding near one of the south exits. Watch out for the alpha
Lopunny. Like Froakie, Fennekin is very skittish and there’s a good chance it’ll run away as you approach.
However, Fennekin respawns after a minute. So you can hide behind the chimney and wait until a new one appears. Then keep trying to catch it with back strikes.
Quick Balls may help with this.
Mega Delphox¶
Mega Delphox from official trailer
New to Legends Z-A, Fennekin’s final evolved form,
Delphox can Mega Evolve! However, you won’t be able to obtain the
Delphoxite mega stone just yet.
Like the
Greninjite mega stone, it’ll be available as a rank up reward from online Ranked Battles, specifically Season 2. A start time for this season has not been provided yet, but it’ll be some time after 5th November 2025, when Season 1 ends.
