Where to find Chespin in Legends Z-A
Where to find Scraggy in Legends Z-A
Ralts is one of the popular Pokemon in Pokemon Legends ZA. This little psychic creature is an absolute monster, and has one of the better Mega Evolutions with Mega
Gardevoir for both for many of the Rogue Mega or other trainer boss battles in the main storyline. If you want to use that Pokemon in your party, here is how to get Ralts in Pokemon Legends ZA

Ralts Location in ZA¶
Okay, so, there’s two ways to get Ralts.
- The first is buying the physical edition of Pokemon Legends ZA, which gives you a Ralts early on.
- If you don’t have that, then you can instead find Ralts on random spawn rooftops across the map. These locations are as follows:
- Wild Zone 2: Go to the large green patch of grass on the map directly southwest from Wild Zone 2. It can spawn there sometimes. Map Marker
- Wild Zone 3: Directly southeast from Wild Zone 3 is a dome shaped building. There’s a ladder to the northwest side of the building you can climb, or you can roll or glide to the dome building if needed. Map Marker
- Quartico Inc: Go to Quartico Inc., which you unlock around Mission 10. Directly behind the building is an ‘L’ shaped patch of grass where a Ralts can spawn at. Map Marker
Feel free to try these locations to get your Ralts.
Ralts Evolution¶
Ralts evolution is once again slightly convoluted, thanks to the different paths you can go.
- At level 20, Ralts can evolve into
Kirlia. - From there, Kirlia can either evolve into
Gallade with a
Dawn Stone or evolve to Gardevoir at level 30.
The option depends on what you prefer. Gallade is a strong physical attacker, while Gardevoir is a better special attacker.
In terms of Mega Evolution, you get both
Gardevoirite and
Galladite Mega Stones at the exact same time from Main Mission 25. So, if you’re looking for Mega Evolutions, then there’s no preference. The choice largely depends on if you want a fighter in your party or prefer the fairy. Gardevoir seems the better fairy compared to most other mid-game Fairy Pokemon, so Gardevoir is likely the better option, but there are edge cases where Gallade is better.
If you do want a Gallade, you will need a Dawn Stone. You can find a Dawn Stone in the following locations:
- Bleu District: Travel southwest from the main road from Wild Zone 5 and 16 and it’s on top of the building to the left. Map Marker
- Wild Zone 2: On the scaffolding near where you find Ralts at Wild Zone 2. You need to roll from the roof or scaffolding to land on the box on the grass to get it. Map Marker
- Jaune District: Go to Wild Zone 8 and you should find a building directly southeast from it. Climb up the building via nearby ladder to get the item pickup by the edge of the south facing roof. Map Marker
- Rogue Sector 2: On top of a roof directly southeast from Wild Zone 3. Map Marker
- There’s another one directly southwest of Wild Zone 3 too by the scaffolding. Map Marker
Gardevoir and Gallade Mega Evolutions¶
Gardevoir is seeming like the popular evolution for the Psychic and Fairy type party needs. Image via Gamer Guides / Nintendo.
The Mega Evolution can turn Gardevoir and Gallade into mega versions. Unlike other mega forms, there is no type switching which is nice. You’re getting two very unique Fairy
Psychic and Psychic Fighting, making them very unique anyway.
In terms of the stat differences, there are some notable plays to be made here.
| Pokemon | HP | ATK | Def | SP ATK | SP Def | Speed |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 68 | 65 | 65 | 125 | 115 | 80 | |
| Mega |
68 | 85 | 65 | 165 | 135 | 100 |
| 68 | 125 | 65 | 65 | 115 | 80 | |
| Mega |
68 | 165 | 95 | 65 | 115 | 110 |
As you can see, the mega evolutions really zone in on their specialties. Gallade becomes a much stronger and tankier attacker and defender, while Gardevoir zones in more on its special attack moves and countering other special attacks.
Again, a great option if you need a Psychic on your team, with a Fairy or Fighter type too.
