Where to find Fennekin in Legends Z-A
Ralts Location, Evolution, Mega Evoltion Tips and Strategies
Chespin is one of the three starters in Pokémon X and Y, alongside
Froakie and
Fennekin. All three can be obtained in Legends Z-A.
There are two ways to get Chespin.
Side Mission 007 A Feisty Chespin¶
Side Mission location
Chespin doesn’t know how to give up
After completing Main Mission 5, head a short distance south-east from Wild Zone 3. You should spot a Chespin beefing with a taxi: Map Marker
The task is simple. Defeat the Chespin. Except it won’t give up after losing and you’ll need to face it a total of three times, without pause. Well, hopefully you brought along some Fire, Flying or Bug types, etc.
Triumph against the stubborn Chespin and it’ll join your party.
Wild Zone 17¶
Hey, that’s not a Diggersby
Finally, a Chespin!
After Main Mission 24, you’ll gain access to Wild Zones 16 and 17. Chespin can occasionally be found in the bottom half of Wild Zone 17, hiding in the burrows. If Chespin is inside a burrow, you can tell because some green parts will be poking out: Map Marker
Unlike Froakie and Fennekin, Chespin isn’t guaranteed to appear. Instead, there’s a good chance those burrows will be home to
Diggersby instead. Also, the burrows seem to take longer to respawn–definitely longer than a minute.
On the plus side, Chespin won’t run away the moment it senses you breathing. Instead, it’ll fight with all it has, similar to the one from the side mission. Just be mindful of any nearby Diggersby that might join in the fight.
Mega Chesnaught¶

Like its counterparts, Chespin’s final evolved form,
Chesnaught can Mega Evolve in Legends Z-A! However, it’ll be a while before you can obtain the
Chesnaughtite mega stone.
This elusive mega stone will be available as a rank up reward from Season 3 of the online Ranked Battles. A start time for this season has not been provided yet.
