Marshadow first appeared in Pokémon Sun and Moon–and now it’s back in the Mega Dimensions DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A!

Where to find Marshadow¶

First, you must’ve completed the postgame DLC mission “The Greatest Gift”, which requires catching Rayquaza.

Accepting the quest

Afterwards, head to the east side of Jaune Sector 11, near the Jaune Sector Pokémon Center. You should spot a man dressed in black who’ll give you Side Mission 192 “The Stealthy Shadow”.

You’ll be asked to investigate a paranormal mystery. Go the battle court west from the Centrico Pokémon Center, which is north from Prism Tower.

Wait for the shadow to touch the center of the ball

Marshadow appears!

Now you need to wait for the shadow of Prism Tower to touch the center of the red Poké Ball shape. It’ll happen moments after sunset begins, when the game says “The sun is getting low…” You’ll know it’s the right place because there’ll be an “Investigate” prompt.

Once the shadow’s in the right place, press A. There should be a brief cutscene and a Level 80 Marshadow will appear. It’s a Fighting and Ghost type. Use your usual tricks to catch it. Ultra Balls are good. Timer Balls if the battle continues for a long time.

Catch Marshadow and the sidequest will conclude. However, the mystery of the ghostly woman remains unresolved…
