Silver Needle: Dr Yuan Location and Sect Overview
How to Get and Use Fivefold Bleed
Sects are a prime part of the faction themes within Where Winds Meet. They enable players to join different Sects, giving them a sort of roleplay experience ranging from tryhard warriors monks, to PvP gremlins, to friendly healers or tricksters on the streets. There’s many more Sects, but they are not yet in the global version, with the content coming in future seasonal patches of the game.
Now, by and large you want to join one that suits your playstyle and preferences. But, there’s also some key free cosmetics to get your hands on if the cash shop is not your thing. So, here’s a look at the Sect Outfits currently in the game as of Season 1 in Where Winds Meet.
Sect Outfits¶

As it stands, there are only a few Sects with outfits. These are as follows
| Items | Sect |
|---|---|
| Tranquil Bamboo & Su Muzhe | Sectless |
| Blazing Midnight | Midnight Blades |
| Silver Current | Silver Needle |
| Heavenly Frost | Well of Heaven |
| Ninefold Freedom | Nine Mortal Ways |
To get a Sect Outfit, you need to reach rank 2 of that Sect’s reputation. This will unlock that cosmetic for purchase from the Sect Store. You will also need to get Sect tokens too to buy the items you want. To get those currencies, you will need to complete the Sect missions which you get daily, alongside following the rules of that Sect specifically. For example Silver Needle wants players to get paid for Healing. Nine Mortal Ways wants you to do some disguise trickery, Midnight Blades want you to engage in PvP and win, and so on. So, make sure to check on the rules of the Sect you are joining before locking in your option. That way you know if that Sect is for you and you can progress through it properly and grab the cosmetics from the Rank 2 of that Sect.
