How to Get and Use Flaming Meteor
Qianye Boss Guide & Tips
The Healing career is one of two currently available career options in Where Winds Meet. This enables players to complete some of the various open world exploration challenges in several different areas of the map. You can also get your hands on special healing items to help cure players of illnesses in co-op, along with getting your own unique medicines too. Here’s a look at what to expect from the Healer career in Where Winds Meet.
How to Be a Healer¶
Interacting with NPCS that need Healing present a mini game, which becomes easier with the Healer Career enabled on your character. Image via Gamer Guides / NetEase.
To become a healer, you need to unlock the career feature on your menu. When that is available, you can find it in the menu, getting a clue on where to go to start it. When you have that clue, simply follow a short quest chain to get the healer career.
Now that you’re a certified healer, you can interact with various challenges and features. For example, you can remedy yourself, and others of their ailments. This saves people from going to the Still Waters care center and spending their coins on them if possible.
You can also do this on some of the missions in the open world too. For example, there’s various healing missions, such as the goose on the bridge between Blissful Retreat and Heaven’s Pier. These operate similarly to the Gift of the Gab missions, which have some cards that drain a health bar. The better the healer the better the procs that pop up and the recovery you can do to the thing you’re giving care to.
It is also worth mentioning that the Sect, Silver Needle has synergy with the role of the healer career too. You are expected to take payment from your healing needs, and participate in multiplayer healing too. So, that’s a bonus if you’re going this career path and want to dedicate yourself to being a healer in co-op play too.

If you need to make specific healing items, then you can go to the Crafting Zones of several industrial areas like Heaven’s Pier Brewery, Harvestfall Village and in Kaifeng city being examples. Go to the Refine Medicine tab, and you can craft four items:
- Hemostatic Powder: 1x Herb, 1 Meat Scrap - your basic healing item for all medicines regardless of healer career path or not.
- Wound Balm - Restores 21% + 4000 HP: Requires Level 1 Tier 4 healer rank. Uses 1x Herb and 1x Vicious Flower to craft.
- Yi-Yang Ointment - Restores 22% + 8,000 HP: Requires Lvl 2 Tier 5 healer rank, and 2x Herbs / 1x Vicious Flower
- Ten Wonders Powder - Restores 23% + 16,000 HP: Requires level 3 healer at Tier 4 and 2x Herbs and 1x Vicious Flower
These meds are largely healer exclusive bonuses for better self healing. Though, all players can still upgrade their medicine slot and Hemostatic Powder via the Evercare Clinic and proving Yao Yaoyao with the Medicinal Tales items.
