Dragon's Breath
Vitality is one of the more important stats that players will need to get their hands on in Where Winds Meet. This is a powerful stat, that enables players to use more Mystic Arts for their build and playstyle needs. The higher this goes, the stronger the Mystic Arts you can equip and spend Vitality on during combat. But, to increase it, you need to mess around with the Melodies of Peace system and get Oddities. Here’s how you increase Vitality in Where Winds Meet.

To increase Vitality in Where Winds Meet, you largely need to interact with the oddities collector with the Melodies of Peace system. By and large, these are the following NPCs, located near:
| NPC | Location | Region |
|---|---|---|
| Qi Sheng | The old man by the stall on the main road towards General Shrine from Bamboo Abode at the start of the game | Qinghe |
| Bai Ji | Marked as the Daoist on the roof to the small hamlet north of the Granary landmark, south east from the sourthern main gate. | Kaifeng |
When you find these NPCs, they often have a side quest for you to complete before you can progress their Oddities features. When they unlock, you can start submitting Oddities, which you find via open world exploration. These come in several resources, from crickets, bee hives, to butterflies, and more. They have their own icon on the world mini map indicating one is nearby. Collect them. When you get them, you can spend them on the Melodies feature at these NPCs, and upgrade various stats of your build. There will be variations but Vitality is one of them you can invest in.
It is important to invest in Vitality, as a lot of the Spiritual skills that you can get for your playstyle have high Vitality costs. Some of the better ones that you grind for later on have high costs, and so is part of the reason you want to grind them.
