Wind Sense is one of the unique skills in Where Winds Meet, allowing players to use a Witcher-like sense to help reveal clues in the nearby area. In some quests and missions, you’ll need to use your senses to get clues, which is the more Witcher style of gameplay. Here’s everything you need to know about the Wind Sense feature in Where Winds Meet.

Wind Sense Skill Explained

To get the Wind Sense skill, you need to go to your talents menu in your develop screen. You will eventually unlock Wind Sense fairly early on as part of your wider leveling up character features.
If you’ve not already got it, then simply level up and check out the basic talent screen and claim it if you have not already done so.

The Wind Sense skill simply requires you to click in your thumbstick, to enter the Wind Sense mode. You can use this out in the world, and it will start to highlight nearby things in the vicinity with an orange glow. This can range from exploration rewards like chests you may otherwise miss, NPCs to speak to, or some of the oddities that you can find around the world. Handy for chasing those crickets and beetles that like running under foliage in the world.

Some quests will also require you to use it too. For example, the one where you go to the Brewery in Chapter 1 of the campaign and check the flasks out require it to follow trails. There is also some in Kaifeng too, where you track NPC movement and look for passageways too. All in all it’s a handy skill and it’s a passive skill too, meaning you don’t need to slot it into your bar. Use this often to make sure you’re not missing out on things in missions or while exploring.

In addition, this is one of the few skills that does not need upgrading with different breakthroughs. So, you can simply get this and use this with no other innate or mystical skill leveling up required.

This summarizes all you need to know about the Wind Sense feature in Where Winds Meet.
