The Wolfchaser Art is one of the Innate skills players can get for a Strategic Sword and Heavenquake Spear build in Where Winds Meet. This is something that players need to look into for helping to manage their bleed spread in the game. To get this, you need to start the Skill Theft for the spear, but this reward is very hard to come by.

Here is how to get the Wolfchaser in Where Winds Meet. Image via Gamer Guides / NetEase.

How to Get Wolfchaser Art

To get the Wolfchaser Art, you need to open the door to enter the Heavenquake Spear obtain quest. You likely already done that so we’ll skip the faff.

So, when you’re in the Heavenquake Spear dojo area, you want to make your way somewhat close to the large tower where the skill theft master trains. Take the ramp down from that platform, where one guard overlooks the courtyard. Take that guard out, alongside the one walking behind him.

When it is clear, descend the ramp again, and wait behind the boxes on the left. You need to take the guard out on the left only when the guard on the right has turned away, and the other guard is not patrolling within sight of that one. Once those two conditions are met, Touch of Death that one, then wipe out the one on the right too while the patrol is not looking.

Get to the bottom of the Skill Theft tower, and then assassinate the guards when the others are not looking or patrolling. This is the hardest part so be patient, then you’re largely in the clear. Image via Gamer Guides / NetEase.

With those two guards down, it should be easy enough to sneak up to the patrol, and the other guard facing the way you need to go. Take care of them both when it’s safe to do so.

Now, there’s two guards that patrol side by side. These cannot be killed. Instead, you need to walk up the ramp on the left and get above them. You should come across a walkway to the left that lets you through the wooden wall. Wait until the guards are not nearby before dropping in, otherwise they can see you.

You should now safely be able to loot the chest and get the Wolfchaser Art skill from the box.

How to Use Wolfchaser Art

To use this skill, you will want to combine it with the Strategic Spear build too. Both weapons use Bleed stacks to build stacks and burst enemies.

The Wolfchaser Art when slotted into your Inner Ways slots will:
Reduces the required combo number to gain Heavenquake Spear’s Martial Art skill, Sober Sorrow buff, from 5/10 to 4/8. Each time Sober Sorrow hits a boss with Bleed effect from you, there is a 20%/40%/60%/80%/100% chance to increase the combo count by 1 based on the number of Bleed stacks.

This is quite strong, as it means it’s another method to get extra bleeds when you use your basic martial art skill that buffs you based on the amount of times it hit. You want to use this when you have bleed on the target from any source with the percentage to increase the count based on how many stacks. When you get stuff like Fivefold Bleed and can get multiple stacks per refresh burst, then using this stack means you can easily cycle extra bleeds incredibly easy, weapon switch burst from this skill. All in all it helps to make the rotation of the playstyle much smoother.

It gets even better too when you upgrade it. Here are the breakthroughs and what to expect:

Tier Description
1 Increase the duration of the buff Sober DPS buff.
2 Increase Affinity Rate from solo mode level.
3 Increases damage
4 Increase the damage of your special skills and heal based on the damage you deal.
5 Increase Affinity Damage by 2.5%
6 When landing at least 5 attack from your Sober skill within 3 seconds applies 1 stack for 15 seconds that increases the damage taken from effects

As you can see, this is very nice support upgrades. You won’t need to upgrade this straight away, but it’s handy for increase overall DPS when your build is in the works. We recommend focusing on Fivefold Bleed and Bitter Seasons for skill upgrades, and even the legendary quality Strategic one first. Or even go for Seasonal Edge for the bonus Affinity, Crit and Physical Damage buffs too.
