How to Win Gift of the Gab Events
How to Fly
The Where Winds Meet character customization is certainly in depth. However, there is one feature players have noticed that is missing surprisingly in the game, and that is changing hair color. The good news is that it is in the game, the bad news is that it’s part of the premier currency monetization. Here’s how to change hair color in Where Winds Meet.

How to Change Hair Colour¶
To change hair color in Where Winds Meet, you need one of two micro-transactions:
| Item | Description | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Inkshade Hairdye | change to more natural darker tones | Cost 5 Essence of Earth from the gacha Draw Shop |
| Timeless Hairdye | change to brighter Schwarzkopf style brighter colors | You get 5 from the Hairdye boxes, which cost one Harmonic Core in the draw shop |
(Why I have made a beauty standard reference I don’t know, dear reader.)
Again, these are part of the monetization cosmetic methods. To get these currencies, you will need to spend your Echo Jade on drawing in the banners. There are several different draw shop currencies, so partaking in the draws will award you those currencies. Of course, there will be banners and other big gacha skin prizes to grab, so maybe consider holding out until you’re ready to go big on the skin you want.
When you have one of the Hairdye items, you can then go into the appearance menu, and change your hair color. Go to the hair slot part of the appearance section, and then select the dye tab at the top left. You can then change dye and use one of the items you want to use to get the hair color you want for your hair or beard color. It will tell you the cost you need in the bottom right of the screen once you select the color option from the picker. Hopefully that helps you customize your character a little bit.
