How to get Golden Body

To get the Golden Body skill, you need to make your Kaifeng City, and enter the Grand Imperial Temple area to the mid west part of the city. You also need to be there during the morning, as a mon that works the garden will be on shift and present.

When you’re there, head towards the small temple building in the very northeast corner of the gardens. Before entering it, you should see a monk working. Use Celestial Seize on him, but don’t get caught doing so.

You should now have successfully looted the Golden Body skill note from him and unlock it.

How to use Golden Body

Golden Body is a very strong Mystic skill that is perfect for players who are tanking, or want a strong defensive skill for PvP or solo play. It has a high vitality cost though, so you may want to upgrade your vitality first though so you can actually cast it. It gets even better too with certain tiers of the skill upgrades, which are as follows:

Tier Description
2 Increases Golden Body’s DMG Reduction by 10% and extends its duration by 2. While Golden Body is active, any shield (including your own) that expires will convert 50% of its remaining value into HP.
3 If your Vitality is over 100 and allied players are nearby, the skill will additionally consume 40 Vitality and add a 10-second cooldown. Perception is converted into an AoE shield for all nearby allies.
4 Reduces Vitality cost by 10 points

As you can see, this is an amazing skill for tank players. You get the synergy on your Mo Blade shield martial art kill with the HP sustain from the Tier 2 upgrades. If you do get at least 100 Vitality in your build and use the skill at Tier 3, it turns into a strong defensive cooldown for group play too, making it very ideal for tank mains to upgrade this skill. If you’re wanting it for solo it’s fine, but don’t upgrade it. You may consider using Dragon’s Breath as a better defensive solo skill instead though since its cheaper vitality cost and does decent damage reduction for its duration.
