How to Get Soaring Spin and Counter PvP Healing Builds
The Lion’s Roar is a spiritual skill that players can get fairly early on in Where Winds Meet, offering a special skill to use. The ability is fairly decent, offering solid damage reduction, chain hits, and if you upgrade it, Silence effect. This makes it very good as a cheap solo defensive skill, and a strong PvP skill too to interrupt enemies, and prevent them from using their own skills too.

How to Get Lion’s Roar¶
To get Lion’s Roar, you need to interact with 4 bells around Qinghe. The locations are as follows:
| Bell | Location |
|---|---|
| 1 | General’s Shrine - Go to the actual shrine and its next to the man ding the Leaping Frog skill |
| 2 | General’s Shrine - Exit along the southwest out out of General’s Shrine and look for the bell along the hill |
| 3 | Wildman Ranch - In the Sundara part of Qinghe, look for Wildmane Ranch, which is northeast from General’s Shrine. Cross the river, and work your ways towards the large Outpost PI called Buddha’s Fort. To the south of the southeast part of the fort is a bell in the woods. |
| 4 | Gleaming Abyss - Go to where the Gleaming Abyss campaign takes place, west of the Peace Bel tower and north of the Tiger Fort. You should find some buildings where the bell is nearby |
Once you have interacted with all four of the bells, you should get the art as a reward.
How to use Lions Roar¶
For the most part, the skill is a PvP or solo skill. The advantages are the chain attacks, and some damage reduction for more DPS focused player builds. It’s a good option for early game players wanting a buff to make their life easier, especially with its cheap vitality cost, meaning you don’t need to upgrade vitality unlike other expensive skills.
For players in PvP, the Mystic art upgrades give you some good options.
| Tier | Description |
|---|---|
| 2 | Enhances the Tenacity when casting the skill |
| 3 | Dealing damage inflicts Silence for 3 seconds. |
| 4 | 40% Damage reduction when casting the skill |
So, it is well worth upgrading if you’re a PvP player or need an easy and cheap skill to upgrade for survivability. Otherwise it is not an entirely needed skill for being in your build otherwise.
