Animal Whisper is one of the various exploration skills players can find in Where Winds Meet. It is in fact one of the later game unlocks for players who are doing a lot of exploring and increasing their stat lines. Some of the exploration content on the world map requires you to use Beastheart on certain beasts and other critters to talk to them. However, to get that option to work, you need to unlock Animal Whisperer. Here’s everything you need to to know to enable Beastheart dialogue options in Where Winds Meet.
How to get Animal Whisperer and Beastheart¶

To get both of these things, you are going to need to progress a fair amount. The following requirements are required:
- Total Aspiration Attributes: 600
- Mindset: 75
- Intelligence: 50
To get Aspiration, you need to get any of the following stats up that constitute player experience for any exploration stat. The full range is as follows:

| Erudiation | Complete Universal Harmony (the butterfly follow activities) and Meow Meow world activities |
| Memory | Complete Healer activities and Disguise activities in Kaifeng |
| Mindset | Collect Dagger General and Moonbeam Toad oddities and complete Fishing competitions and Cure your Spellbound from a Healer player when completing certain world events that cause it to happen. |
| Ambition | Level up. One point per character level |
As you can see, it is largely just partaking in open world activities and other events that take place. Finding oddities is generally a big one which you should be doing anyway for the upgrades from Qi Sheng and the like. But in general, try and find the various puzzles and Gift of the Gab to ensure you get your intelligence up, and the fishing events to focus your Mindset up. You can find a fair few Dagger Generals in the starter area if you’re desperate for Generals too. Check out an interactive map online and look for the specific oddities to power level those stats too to make sure you unlock the Animal Speaking and Beast Heart options as efficiently as possible.

Okay, since this game has nightmarish menus, you can find all this information by going into the character menu, then clicking on develop. From there, click the details button below your equipment rating. It will take you into another sub menu, where you can find your exploration attributes and exploration skills. This should help you track the progression for any other skill you want to unlock and check your progress for animal whisperer and other such exploration feats.
