How to Get Animal Whisperer and Beastheart
How to Get and Use Flaming Meteor
With the Ghostlight Market now available in Global version, many players are finding new things to do in the secret market area. The area is filled with rewards, one of which is the Wolflike Frenzy Mystic skill. While this skill is niche, it’s great for breaking down stance bars, or dismounting mounted units in the open world. Here is a look at how to get and use the Wolflike Frenzy in Where Winds Meet.

How to Get Wolflike Frenzy¶
To get the Wolflike Frenzy, you need to enter the Ghostlight Markets. Follow the main quest if you have not yet done so, and you should unlock the Ghostlight Markets after some of the early Kaifeng quests.
Once there, you can find the Wolflike Frenzy location inside a chest in the tunnels to the market. You want to make it to the pagoda entrance to the market and turn back around towards the tunnel you entered from. From there, you should find a lit up path with a cave wall you can climb where you can follow a path down that reaches the chest.
How to Use Wolflike Frenzy¶
In general, the Wolflike Frenzy skill is relatively niche. It’s ideal against mounted targets, or those with a stance bar. When you use it, you:
Knock down an enemy, followed with rapid strikes, and finish with an upward swing that disables the target. Effective against Cavalry and other units with Unstable Poise. Unstable Poise: These units have a Stance bar near their HP. Stance-break deals special hit and Physical damage.
While there is not much point to upgrading it, as it’s super niche, there are some benefits to it.
| Tier | Description |
|---|---|
| 2 | Deals 10% additional damage to players |
| 3 | Inflicts the target with hamstring, preventing Lightness skills for 5 seconds. |
| 4 | Reduces Vitality cost by 5 points |
It has some decent uses in PvP. The restriction on Lightness skills can prevent players from getting away, which is handy to stop healing, kiting and other effects. It can be fairly handy to use if you come across it in the Battle Royale Forest mode. Outside of that, it’s somewhat niche. If you’re a PvP player, we strongly recommend that you go and grab the Dragon’s Breath or the Soaring Spin skills instead for PvP countering.
