How to Self Heal¶
In general, there are a few different healing mechanics in Where Winds Meet.
- There’s the illness feature
- And then the health bar feature
To cover the easy one, the self healing health bar is to do with the player ability to heal. You can get medicines, which will serve as Souls-like Flasks, which you craft, and then refill at Boundary Stone visits. You can also passively heal by consuming food when out of combat, which you cook at Crafting Zones cooking pots. So, there’s a few ways to heal your actual health bar. Don’t forget you will need Medicinal Tales to upgrade your actual Divinecraft medicine slot for in combat healing. Alternatively, you can go healer and craft better healing kits too.
The other effect is the illness and injury feature. If you get stung by bees, bit by snakes, get burnt, take fall damage, you will likely suffer an injury of some kind. The good thing is you can heal this by going to the Still Shore Clinic by speaking to Yao Yaoyao at the front door. She will charge you a fair amount though for visiting her.
Alternatively, the other way to heal these are via clicking the top left of the screen when you are injured, and then looking for a healer player. You can then check the mastery required for the illness and injury you may have and find someone to pay as a player to get co-op assistance there instead. They will need to do the minigame on you to heal you though, so it’s no guarantee to beat it.
