Some Tools/Charms in Hollow Knight Silksong are extremely useful, either because they serve a function outside of battle, or help you when you are facing down formidable foes. The 
Silkspeed Anklets are one such Tool that falls into the former category, as they can increase your sprinting speed. While you can access the area where this item is located early enough into the game, you’ll lack the ability needed to open the door to its location.
Where to Find the Silkspeed Anklets¶
In order to get the Silkspeed Anklets, you’ll first need to progress through the story until you defeat Widow. This is a boss you fight in Bellhart, which becomes accessible after defeating Moorwing. Technically, you won’t be able to reach 
Widow until you go through Shellwood and defeat Sister Splinter. Once you do that, you can unlock the 
Cling Grip ability and finally make your way to Widow. For defeating her, you will unlock another ability, 
Needolin. By holding Triangle/Y/X, you will make music with your needle weapon. This is important, as there are a few doors in the game that only open up when you play the Needolin.
Go to the bottom right corner of Far Fields for this Needolin door.
There’s even a bench in here, in case you need it.
Once you have that, you can return to Far Fields, which is where the anklets are found. Go to the area where you initially found the Seamstress, but don’t go in her hut. Instead, find the hidden wall on the right side of the room, where you can continue right by striking a bunch of explosive rocks. In the room with the rings in the air (this requires the 
Clawline ability), head all the way to the right to find the Needolin door. When it opens, go inside to find the Weavenest Cindril area.
There is a bench here, so use it if you need to rest, then continue to the right. As you walk to the right, you should see some things light up in the background. These things are the key to obtaining the anklets. What you need to do is actually sprint past them, which will cause more lights to appear. Start from one end and run all the way to the other side, and if you’ve done it right, then the lights will stay on and a pedestal will come out of the ground on the far side. This will be holding an item, which will be the Silkspeed Anklets.
The goal of the puzzle is to sprint past these lights to make them go full.
Once you get them all lit up, you’ll be able to secure the Silkspeed Anklets.
Silkspeed Anklets Use¶
The Silkspeed Anklets are a yellow tool, which will increase your running speed. The only problem is that when you are using this, your silk will gradually decrease. There aren’t a whole lot of uses for this, but the Delivery Wishes are great for this, as well as the ones where you have to race someone.
If you combine the anklets and the flea dew tool, you can max out the reading, making the altar retract back and opening a room beneath. I didn't find any secrets in that room.
