One of the features of WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers is the Benediction system. Benedictions are pretty much runes that you can slot onto each weapon. You’ll be able to place one Oath Benediction, one Memory Benediction, and one Wisdom Benediction on each weapon.

Some Benedictions are part of a set, and if you match all three of the same set, you’ll get a bonus. In general, Benedictions are often found while exploring or as a reward for answering the riddle correctly at a Mystery Benediction Gate. Read on to find out what every Benediction does, and where you can find it.

Set Bonuses¶

There are six set bonuses for benedictions, which are Skyborn Plume, Impale, Momentum, Mastery, Overload, and Break. Each set bonus gives you a different passive effect when you equip three of the same set. Unfortunately, very few benedictions have a set bonus, so you’ll need to check the tables below, or look at the benediction in-game. If it has an icon in the bottom right, it has a set bonus. Look at the table below to find out what each one does.

The Set Bonus will appear in the top center of the screen. Benedictions with the small icons in the corner have a set bonus attached to them.

Shi - Rising Defense	While below a certain health threshold, you gain increased defense against Slashing, Blunt, and Stab attacks	Worship’s Rise - Lu’s Mansion: After arriving at Doomwillow Beach, take the pathway to the right that leads up the hill. It will take you to a burned-down Lu’s Mansion. At the back of the area is a cave you can enter, and at the far back of that is a Poison Pot monster to kill, which is where you’ll find the Benediction.	–
Wei - Vitality Force	Increase damage dealt while at full health	Mt. Zhenwu - Battlefield Site: From the shrine, follow the paths on the left until you reach a cave full of blood and skulls. Take the path to the right, outside the cave, to have it lead back around into it, where you’ll find a Lotus Mage above the pool of blood. Defeat the Mage, go through the cave, and head back outside into a red forest area, where you’ll find a small chest containing the benediction.	Overload
Wei - Backstab Force	Increases the potency of Backstab attacks	Cloudspire - Cloudspire Outskirts: The objective in this area is to light up three torches scattered around the camp/village. These are on top of a tower, and on top of the tower is a chest/item you can get, opposite the torch. The Benediction is in a chest, on top of the tower at the back of the camp. If you have the shortcut next to the Cloudspire Outskirts shrine, you can follow the path up the hill to reach the tower.	Impale

Shan - Blight Defense	If a nearby enemy suffers Blight, take reduced damage for a time	Avian Dwelling - Cross the bridge shortcut into and through the boss room. On the other side of the arena, take the pathway up and left to a dead end to get the benediction.	–
Wei - Poise Force	If a nearby enemy suffers Poise Break, deal increased damage for a time	Shaft Entrance: When you see the swinging blades, drop to the platforms below and follow the path until you reach an open area with a big enemy, you’ll drop to a room with a chest (and a shortcut door to the Shrine). Continue down the path, and you’ll reach the central shaft again, but you’ll be on a lower floor. Go around behind some breakables to find a small chest containing the benediction.	–
Fa - Corruptive Feathers	If a nearby enemy suffers Corruption, your weapon gains increased Feathering Attack Power for a time	Open the Mystery Gate in the Lotus Pond in Tang’s Palace during Chapter 4.	–

Across the bridge is the Red-Clad Lady, who’s standing next to a burning pyre. Speak to her, exhaust her dialogue, and she will give you this benediction.	–
Bu - Plunging Ward	Plunging attacks that hit reduce damage for a time	Worship’s Rise - Palace Way: After defeating the Reborn Treant boss, follow the pathway until you reach a fortification wall. Enter, climb the stairs to the top of the wall, and the benediction is on a table against the battlement.	–
Sheng - Lasting Alacrity	Extends the duration of damage avoidance when triggering Alacrity	Worship’s Rise - Tang Palace: Opposite the Lotus Pond are some large red doors that lead back to Shu Sanctum. To the left of the doors are some stairs. Go up the stairs, follow the linear path, and then go down the stairs in the following area. Here, you’ll find a Mystery Riddle Gate. Choose “Winged Ascension” and the door will open, exposing the benediction.	–
Sheng - Obliteration Might	Obliteration attacks increase your damage for a time and grant Skyborn Might	Cloudspire - Rebel Camp: From the shrine, go down the ladder, and up the slope in front to the right (past the two enemies). At the top of the slope is a wagon. Attack and destroy it, and defeat the Elder Treant just past it. Continue to the end of the path and climb the tower to find a chest containing the benediction.	–
Sheng - Skyborn Rejuvenation	Gaining Skyborn Might endows your attacks with life leech for a very short moment	Cloudspire Outskirts: Enter the outskirts from the “Snowy Passage” shrine and head left. Go around the corner and take the first path to the right. At the end is a tent with a ladder to the side of it. Sheng - Lethal Might	Defeating an enemy increases your damage for a time and grants Skyborn Might	Cloudspire Outskirts: Next to the shortcut (gate) from the Cloudspire Outskirts Shrine. Go through, look left, and open the Mystery Gate with the yellow glimmer to obtain the benediction.	–
Fa - Burning Ignition	If a nearby enemy suffers Burn, your weapon gains increased Fire Attack Power for a time	Cloudspire - Snowpeak Pass: Go through the house on the left after crossing the bridge from the shrine. On the other side, go left to the edge of the cliff to find a small chest with the benediction.	–
Ta - Swift Frostbite	Increases Frostbite buildup	Cloudspire - Snowfall Palace: Go into the palace and enter the room to your immediate left. There will be a Maid praying in front of the altar, and the benediction will be in a small chest behind the altar.	–
Ta - Combustion	Increases your Weapon’s Burn buildup	Sold by Wu Gang after giving him the Tome of Silver-Seeking. Costs 12700 Red Mercury.	–
Shan - Blight Ward	Enemies afflicted with Blight deal less damage	Mt. Zhenwu - Antechamber: Progress through the puzzle tower area of Mt. Zhenwu Temple until you unlock the elevator. Take the shortcut elevator to the top, and turn right. On the balcony to the left is an invisible pathway. Follow the green lights to the first white note, turn left, and follow the invisible path to the next note. From there, move between the green lights to reach the large stone door in the cliff face. Open it to get the benediction. The notes will lie, so use Divination Crescents between each light to make sure there is a path underneath you before moving on.	–
Wei - Lightning Force	Lightning Damage now increases the Lightning damage enemies take	Mt. Zhenwu - Antechamber: When you enter the large puzzle tower from the Antechamber main pathway via the shortcut, you will enter a tower. Drop on the ledge and then climb some stairs to reach a new mechanism. You should see some stairs beyond some breakable objects before crossing over. Go down, and then follow the spike trap pathway. Once you’re through, cross the bridge and defeat the Face Changer, who guards a small chest with the benediction in it.	–
Ta - Swift Poise Break	Increases Poise Break buildup	Mt. Zhenwu - Ferry Overlook: From the shrine, go back into the cave, and take the path to the right of the slope. Break the objects in your way to find a small chest containing the benediction.	Overload
Wei - Six-Disciplinary Force	Increases damage if 6 Disciple skills are known	Hand over the Used Mortar to Wu Gang. Costs 7800 Red Mercury.	Mastery
Sheng - Lethal Rejuvenation	Defeating an enemy restores some health	In Act 4, go towards the Palace area, and progress through the Lotus Ponds. Go towards the front gate and down the stairs. Here, you’ll see some Ming Soldiers fighting some rather tall enemies. The benediction is on the right side of that open space where this fight takes place.	–
Ta - Swift Corruption	Increases your Weapon’s Corruption buildup	Go to the top floor of Shu Sanctum in Act 4, where you battled a boss, the main boss of the area in Act 1. The room will be burning, and you’ll find a small chest at the back of the room containing the benediction. There is a difficult enemy here guarding it.	–
Ren - Blood Vigor	Taking damage increases your Stamina recovery speed for a time	This Benediction is particularly difficult to obtain, requiring a specific set of criteria to unlock. There are two things you must do to receive it: first, follow the Boatman’s questline so that he appears behind the Riddle Door in Bo Capital (Chapter 5). Second, make sure you find all three Riddle Doors throughout the game and answer their riddles incorrectly. Only then will you receive Ren - Blood Vigor when you speak to the Boatman in Chapter 5	Break

From the Narrow Stretch, run past Nian Suichang (NPC) and continue along the bottom path until you reach a small bridge near some stairs. Go across the bridge and follow that path to the end, where you’ll find a desolate area with a burning tree. The benediction will be by the tree.	–
Wei - Counter Force	Increases the potency of counter moves	Worship’s Rise: From Nian Suichang (NPC) in the Narrow Stretch, go up the stairs near him into the village and head behind the house to the right. An enemy will crash through the side of the house, creating a hole in the wall, allowing you to go inside. The benediction is in a small chest in the house.	Skyborn Plume
Wei - Skyborn Discipline	Skyborn Might increases the potency of Discipline skills for a time	Worship’s Rise - Bamboo Courtyard: From the Reverent Temple shortcut, continue past the first intersection, but take a left at the next. Continue along the path to the end to find the chest containing the benediction.	–
Wei - Plunging Force	Increases the potency of plunging attacks	Worship’s Rise: If you go through Worship’s Rise proper, you’ll end up in a village area at the top. Here, you can climb across the rooftops, and this benediction is located on the balcony near the Face-Changer (Elite Fire enemy). To get to it, you must drop through a hole in the corner of the leftmost building above the enemy to get there.	–
Wei - Combo Force	Consecutive attacks increase your damage	Obtained after defeating the main story boss in Tang’s Palace, at the Lotus Ponds.	Impale
Fa - Combo Ignition	Consecutive attacks increase your weapon’s fire attack power	Cloudspire - Mort Grotto: From the Shrine, go down the tunnel, through two large open areas within the mines, where an Elder Treant resides. Just past the treant will lead back outside, where you’ll find another Elder Treant along with a small chest containing the benediction.	–
Fa - Combo Lightning	Consecutive attacks increase your weapon’s Lightning attack power	Mt. Zhenwu - Refugee Camp: From the shrine, take the right path after the tents, and go through the abandoned camp. Go down the slope onto the water (where the big bird enemy is). Go past the bird to the left of the building, and you’ll get ambushed by a demon. In the corner of the area by the demon is a small chest containing the benediction.	–
Wei - Blightful Wounds	Increases damage dealt to enemies affected by Blight. Enemies with less health remaining take increasingly more damage	Mt. Zhenwu - Avian Marsh: From the shrine, continue following the path as normal. Eventually, you’ll come across a tall bird man wandering around. Turn around and look behind you on the path you took. You should notice three of the cursed basket Blight enemies in a dead end. Kill the three enemies and get the benediction near the bramble they are foraging at.	–
Ta - Glacial Frostbite	Inflicting Frostbite increases the damage of Frostbite	Cloudspire - Cloudspire City: From the shrine, go through the house opposite, back outside, and follow the path left. Climb the ladder on your right, and continue down the wooden platforms into a mine. Follow the mine around until you reach an intersection and go left, up the ladder. This will take you to a house. Go to the top floor to find a chest containing the benediction.	–
Ta - Poise Force	Inflicting Poise Break on an enemy amplifies the damage dealt by Poise Break. However, Stamina usage is also increased	Mt. Zhenwu - Avian Marsh: From the shrine, climb the shortcut above, or progress through the main path as normal until you get to the shortcut. Once you’re above the shrine, follow the path towards the tree branches. Turn left when you get the chance, and you’ll see the invisible floor markers. Follow the markers, and it will take you to the benediction.	Overload
Ren - Combo Vigor	Consecutive attacks increase your stamina recovery speed	Cloudspire - Shaft Entrance: From the shrine, go across the bridge with the traps, and go left around the corner. This path will have two boulders falling. Follow the second boulder down the hole at the end, open the door, then drop into the water beneath the swinging traps. Go through the hole in the wall, climb the ladder, and you’ll find a small red chest in the room at the top.	–
Wei - Revolving Force	Forcibly turning an enemy around increases your damage for a time	Purchase from Wu Gang after handing over the Black Coral Bracelet. Costs 6500 Red Mercury.
Wei - Skyborn Force	Increases your damage during Skyborn Might	Purchase from Wu Gang after handing over the Used Mortar. Costs 6500 Red Mercury.	Momentum

Ta - Viral Corruption	Inflicting Corruption increases the potency of Corruption	From Shu Sanctum in Act 4, go down and follow the pathway towards where you found the Panda and Storyteller in the cave in Act 1. There are two elite enemies here instead, and they’re guarding this item.	–
Ta - Blazing Burn	Inflicting Burn increases the potency of Burn	Worship’s Rise - Annalum (Act 4): From the shrine, follow the linear path until you reach an Avian Hunter (giant bird-like enemy) next to a golden statue. Defeat the enemy, and check under the house opposite the statue to find a small chest containing the benediction. The chest is against the wall, slightly left of the center.	–
Fa - Blood Magic	Taking damage increases your Spell damage for a time	Defeat the final boss for the Benediction.	Break

That’s it for benedictions in WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers. It feels like this feature needs some work, and hopefully, with patches/updates, we get more of them, or at least more with set bonuses.
