Where to Find Qiao Ying and Complete Her Quest
Where to Find Xuanyangzi and Complete His Quest
In WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, there are numerous NPCs, all whom have quests that span the entire game. However, missing them in one spot could end their quest line, making you wait until New Game+ to do it again. The Plain Warrioress is an odd one, as you’ll see her from time to time, but you don’t really learn much about her or who she is until much later on in the game. Read on to find out every meeting with the Plain Warrioress, and where to go to progress her quest.

First Meeting - Worship’s Rise: Palace Hill¶
Your first meeting with the Plain Warrioress takes place near the end of Tang Emperor’s Palace. From the
Palace Hill shrine, take the stairs to the top, and you’ll find her under the pagoda, overlooking the
Lotus Pond. Speak to her and exhaust her dialogue to receive a
Plumed Branch.
Take the stairs up from the Palace Hill shrine to find the Warrioress under the pagoda.
Exhaust her dialogue to obtain a Plumed Branch.
Second Meeting - Cloudspire: Snowfall Palace¶
Once again, you’ll need to wait a while before you see the Warrioress again. This time, you’ll find her in the Cloudspire region, at the
Snowfall Palace. From the Snowfall Palace shrine, go up the stairs ahead, turn right, and enter the palace. Make your way through the palace, and you’ll encounter a large elevator you can take up. Take the elevator to the next floor, and you’ll find her next to the altar by the balcony. Speak to her and exhaust her dialogue to obtain a Plumed Branch.
(1 of 3) In Snowfall Palace, make your way to the elevator and stand on the switch to go to the next floor.
Third Meeting - Mt. Zhenwu: Antechamber¶
After finishing the Cloudspire region, you’ll end up in Mt. Zhenwu. Progress through the story until you reach the main temple, where the Antechamber shrine is. Continue through the area like normal until you reach the main temple with the lever mechanisms and Blight Lotus Mages (inflicts Despair).
This whole area is a large puzzle where you’ll need to flick a lever, go down and up different stairs, and even go onto other temple roofs before coming back into the main one. Progress through the area, and eventually, you’ll end up on a narrow cliff ledge, which leads to a wooden path/bridge.
Follow the path along, and you’ll find her waiting by some trees. Speak to her, and she’ll speak about an old fool in the
Pavilion of Knowledge (the storyteller), and then she asks you how far you think you’ll make it before handing over a Plumed Branch to you.
You’ll find the Warrioress near the end of the area on the wooden path atop the cliff.
Speak to her and exhaust her dialogue for a Plumed Branch.
Fourth Meeting - Bai Mansion¶
Bai Mansion is an optional place, accessed by taking the ferry to the right of the pier in
Ferry Overlook. At Bai Mansion, there isn’t a lot to do here outside of some lore, but to the left of the shrine is a tunnel. Go into the tunnel, and you’ll find the Plain Warrioress near the top. Just past her is the optional boss,
Bai Kru, and it appears to be tied to you and the Plain Warrioress, so we suggest defeating it.
The Warrioress will be at the back of the tunnel to the left of the Bai Mansion shrine.
She won’t have much to say, but she’ll still give you a Plumed Branch.
Fifth Meeting - Worship’s Rise (Act 4): Burning Cavern¶
The
Burning Cavern is the place where you started the game, accessed from the top of
Reverent Temple and taking the path right at the top. This cave is relatively small with a few enemies and items in it, but at the back is the boss of Act 4. The Plain Warrioress can be found just outside the door to the boss room. As always, exhaust her dialogue, and she’ll give you a Plumed Branch.
You’ll find the Warrioress near the boss door at the back of the Burning Cave.
Exhaust her dialogue for some not-so-kind words and a Plumed Branch.
That’s it for the Plain Warrioress for now, although we’re testing different methods to see how to progress this quest.
