WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers is a soulslike, and with all soulslikes, it has a lot of difficult bosses. There are a total of 24 bosses in WUCHANG, with some of them being optional. However, due to the open nature of the game, you can miss some of these. Read on to find out what bosses are in the game and where you can find them.

All Boss Locations and Rewards¶

The list below will be in chronological order, but keep in mind that you can deviate from the main story path and fight these bosses in a different order. As mentioned above, there are 24 bosses in total.

Feathered Priest - Lu Bingzhang	Worship’s Rise - Shu Sanctum	From the shrine, go to the top of the Sanctum by taking the stairs, and open the door at the top to find the boss.	Mercurial Blood, Priest’s Broken Cane, Echo of Lu Bingzhang, Wei - Vitality Ferocity, Shu Sanctum Key
Gluttonous Monstrosity - Lu Hongliu	Worship’s Rise - Shu Sanctum	From the shortcut where you knocked the tree over leading to Shu Sanctum. Go across the shortcut, turn left, and then right before going up the bloody stairs to the right. This is an optional boss.	Trinity Bell, Jade Cicada, Echo of Lu Hongliu, White Jade Dumpling
Blightweaver - Great Centipede	Worship’s Rise - Bandit Cave	Located down the path from the shrine. Drop into the big open room to initiate the battle.	Believer’s Statue, Echo of the Great Centipede, Astral Blade, Taoist Token
Reborn Treant - Soulwood	Worship’s Rise - Lu Mansion	From the shrine, take the elevator down, and go left to the pools of blood. Go right, and right again at the next intersection, and follow the path to the end to find the boss. Note, you can climb a ladder on your right as you go down this path to make a shortcut to the Doomwillow Beach shrine.	Echo of Soulwood, Alltree Jade Cylinder
Tang Palace Maid (Palace Hill)	Worship’s Rise - Palace Hill	The boss can be found in the building you climbed on to reach the Palace Hill shrine. From the shrine, go back onto the roof, go down the ladder, and follow the building around the corner to the right to find the entrance to the building. Commander - Honglan	Worship’s Rise - Palace Hill	From the shrine, go back onto the roof that you took to reach the shrine, go down the ladder, and head toward the Lotus Pond in the center. Now that the water has been drained, you can drop into the arena.	Wei - Combo Force, Reverent Temple Key
General of the North - Ai Nengqi	Cloudspire - Rebel Camp	First, you’ll need to get the Rebel Camp key from the big armored guy in the camp. Now, head back to the shrine and take the nearby ladder down. Go down the slope and open the gate to initiate the boss battle. Ming General - Liu Cheng’en	Cloudspire - Cloudspire Outskirts	Either defeat Ai Nengqi first or light all three braziers in Cloudspire Outskirts to lower the drawbridge to Snowpeak Pass. Once that is done, head back to Cloudspire Outskirts shrine, unlocking the shortcut gate along the way. From the shrine, go through the shortcut and follow the path to the end before turning right and going across the drawbridge (Be careful of the mines near the drawbridge). Mistress of the Night - Huang Yan	Cloudspire - Snowfall Palace	From the shrine, go into the building to the right of the palace stairs, and follow the path to the end. Perfect Bride - Fang Ling / Chimera - Fang Ling	Cloudspire - Bride’s Boudoir	This is a double boss fight, with the first being Fang Ling. The second is a transformation into Chimera - Fang Ling. From the shrine, head across the wooden bridge to fall into the boss arena. Note: Use the elevator first to unlock a shortcut to the Shaft Entrance shrine. Bo Sorcerer	Mt. Zhenwu - Avian Dwelling	The Bo Sorcerer is at the end of the Avian Marsh, however, you can knock down a tree near the boss arena back to the Avian Dwelling shrine.	Copper Drum, Echo of the Bo Sorcerer
South General - Liu Wenxiu	Mt. Zhenwu - Zhenwu Antechamber	Go through the area until you unlock the shortcut to the Antechamber shrine. Go through the shortcut, go right, and take the stairs inside. This is located below a bridge that leads to the Refugee Camp shortcut as well. Monstrous Toddler - Bai Kru	Mt. Zhenwu - Bai Mansion	Bai Mansion is an optional area accessed by taking the boat to the right of the pier in Ferry Overlook, which is just past the storyteller, who you’ll find after the last boss. Nightmare Demon	Worship’s Rise in Ruins - Shu Sanctum	Located in the same place you fought Lu Hongliu. From the Shu Sanctum shrine, go to the tree shortcut, and head across the shortcut. Turn left, then right, before proceeding up the stairs to the right. This is an optional boss.	Bo Blood, Everlight Stone Needle - Continuity
Vermilion Feathers - Honglan	Worship’s Rise in Ruins - Palace Pass	After passing through the Tang Palace in Chapter 4, descend the cliffs at Palace Pass. At the bottom is a cliff-edge with a hurricane circle underneath. Drop onto the circle to avoid fall damage, and you’ll see Honglan waiting for you at the bottom. Bo Magus	Worship’s Rise in Ruins - Palace Entrance	From the shrine, take the left path, and go down the nearby ladder. Follow the linear path to find the boss.	Magus’ Eyepiece, Echo of the Bo Magus
The Reborn / Dragon Emperor - Zhu Youjian	Worship’s Rise in Ruins - Burning Cavern	From the shrine and enter the nearby cavern (this is the cavern you started the game at). Go through the cavern to the end and go down the stairs to start the boss fight. This battle has two bosses, with the first being The Reborn. Eternal Glory - Zhao Yun	Mt. Zhenwu - Avian Dwelling	From the Avian Dwelling Shrine, go over the first tree you kicked down and go forward (instead of right), and you’ll find a path that leads to the Tomb area, where you’ll find this boss.	Cyan Feather Chisel, Shu Army Board, Echo of Zhao Yun
Demon of Obsession	Bo Capital - Depths of the Capital	Progress through the Chapter until you reach the Depths of the Capital shrine. Next to it is a Mystery Gate, where you will need to answer a riddle. Select “The Wheel Turns Anew” to be teleported to the Shrine Dwelling area, where you’ll find the boss. You will need to complete both Fang Yao and He Youzai’s quests, as well as not give Xuanyangzi the chisel outside the Burning Cavern. Finally, you will need to defeat the boss above to have access to the right answer for the riddle door. That’s it for all 24 bosses in WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers. Some of these bosses will require you to complete quest lines or hand over Key Items to different NPCs (He Youzai/Xuanyangzi). Out of the 24 bosses, eight are optional. These are: Bai Kru, Gluttonous Monstrosity - Lu Hongliu, Monstrous Toddler - Bai Kru, Nightmare Demon, Vermilion Feathers - Honglan, Bo Magus, Eternal Glory - Zhao Yun, and Demon of Obsession. The rest are main story bosses.
