The Praying Mantis is one of the final tier 3 enemies that you will find in Grounded 2. This enemy is few in number, but will pose a big challenge to players if you’re ambushed by one. Praying Mantis Nymph Locations¶

For the most part, you can find the Praying Mantis Nymphs in the following locations:

1. On a blade of grass in the Snackbar region, located to the immediate west of the Headless BURG.L POI.
2. At the very southeastern edge of the Entrance region. Travel south from the Trash Can and stay near the brick pathway.
3. Along the northwestern part of the Pine Hill area. It’s sort of directly northwest of the Phone and southwest from the Doll Car POI.
4. Near the border of Ceremony and Statue. Go east from the Microphone and you should find it at the corner where you can also fin the apple.
5. Near the middle of the Rose Garden section to the south of the Statue.
6. The other is the Nymph boss at the northern side of the Statue.

While you’re hunting them, make sure to bring a Slashing weapon, or some Freshness to the battle. These are the main weaknesses of the Praying Mantis. The best weapon for farming Praying Mantis Nymphs is the Ice Sickle weapon. The Nymph also has weak spots in the eyes exclusively for stabbing weapons, which is handy since it is resistant to stabbing elsewhere. Archers and Rogue builds have something to aim for at least. These tips should help make them easier to farm.

As for their abilities, they tend to jump, and cause a landslide type move They can also block so that’s something to be mindful of. The attacks tend to be fast attack two hit combos. So you should be able to anticipate perfect parries against them somewhat easily.

Crafting with Praying Mantis Nymph Parts¶

Since you’re farming the Praying Mantis Nymph, you’re mainly doing it for the following items:

For the most part, you only really want to farm the Praying Mantis Nymphs for the Two-Handed Sword. This Sword has:

• 3 ½ bars of damage,
• nearly 6 bars of stun,
• 3 bars of speed,
• 4 ½ bars of crit chance.

This is a fairly strong Slashing weapon too. Slashing weapons are fairly limited in terms of crafting. Any creature weak to slashing, which includes the Praying Mantis Nymph itself, and most of the beetles and bugs in the game will become much easier to defeat. So it’s for sure worth farming these enemies.
