Dash Strike is a heavy attack move that players who use the Dual Wield Weapon type can perform. This move is a short range dash to where your cursor is aiming at, allowing you to dash to enemies and quickly hit them with a heavy attack. As you progress through the game, you can enhance this effect to be even better. Here’s a closer look at what to expect with the Dash Strike effect in Grounded 2.

Dash Strike explained¶
As mentioned, the Dash Strike is a Dual Wield Weapon attack. The move only dashes ever so slightly, so it’s not got any crazy distance on it. We advise switching to third person to get a better idea of the distance covered with it.
With no gear supporting it, you typically want it to stealth ambush or dodge into Dash Strike. This is especially handy for enemies that dash or block a lot. Mites are a good example with their jump range. Soldier Ants are also good to use it to drain their stamina, or dash around their guard and hit their side.
In terms of gearing, there’s also keywords that aid in further improving the Dash Strike effect
Dual Dasher - Dash Strikes using Dual Wield weapons deal more damage. You can find this on gear like the Weaver armor set. Unlocked via
Orb Weaver parts. The Wolf Spider armor set also helps too when you each Tier 3 gear.- Assassin - Dash Strikes have increased critical hit chance and Dual
Daggers and Sickles deal increased crit damage, You get this from the Mutations menu for the Assassin class.
Some gear sets for the Rogue have very strong Dash Strike synergies. Image via Gamer Guides / Obsidian.
There’s also some rogue effects that offer good synergy with this ability. There’s a term called
Critical Momentum, where successful attacks increase your critical strike chance. Stacking this up against light enemies, before engaging on a bigger threat with Dash Strike is very strong. You increase your crit hit change going into combat, then you combo that with Assassin’ and Dual Dasher buffs means the base damage is much stronger, and the crit chance for that skill is even higher than it should. This should lead to some incredibly strong stealth Dash Strike damage modifiers. This should help you take down some incredibly strong foes.
Hope that explains how to properly use the Dash Strike mechanic in Grounded 2.
