Spicy Shards are one of the various crafting pieces in Grounded 2 that players can use. The item is largely used for different resistance based armor and weaponry. These builds will help you counter plenty of enemies or ignore fighting enemies that are resistant to certain weapon damage types. Spicy is one such of those special weapon damage types. This guide will help you find Spicy Shard locations and teach you what you can use them on.
Spicy Shard Locations¶

Spicy Shards are typically gathered from players with Tier 2 OmniHammers. When you have the tool, you will be able to gather these items by smashing Spicy Candies you find out in the world.
Spicy Shards are somewhat hard to come by. Here are the locations we are aware of for the Spicy Shards:
- By the Chacas box in the center of the Snackbar Front area.
- Two are atop of the
Trash Can in the Entrance region. - One is southwest of the Trash Can, and north west of the Tunnel Entrance, found south of the Trash Can.
- Under the Lamppost in Picnic, inside where the
Dead Root is. - Inside the Toxic Anthill, which is next to the border of Snackbar and Picnic.
- There’s at least two underneath the table cloth of the Picnic Table. Climb up via the cutlery and the bends in the cloth.
- Another three around the briefcase on the Picnic table and towards the picnic table itself.
- On the border of Fire Pit and Picnic Table.
- There’s two near the
Memorial Crate in the central northern area of Pine Hill. - Another two in Pine Hill somewhat near the northern border of Fire Pit. Sort of to the east of Spider Den North Entrance.
- There’s a Hot Chacas box near the
Pebble Village Lunch box POI to the south of the Ice Cream Cart. There’s one inside the Pebble Village poi too. - One inside the empty Terrarium in Ceremony
- Another on the Podium in Ceremony by the Chacas box.
- One on top of the Skateboard in
Grass Games.
Using Spicy Shards¶

Spicy Shards are useful for the following crafts:

Spicy Shards are largely used for the Spicy gear effects. Players can make Spicy Arrows from combining Feather Arrows and Spicy Shards together. It gives players with Piercing damage an opportunity to go weak special effect damage too. You will need to go and grab Crow Feather Pieces to craft the Feather Arrows.
Mage players can also craft the Sizzling Orb that allows them to cast magical attacks using the Spicy Damage profile. Mage players may also want to make the Sizzling armor set, which gives players Sizzling resistance, alongside mage buffs for using less stamina when using staves. Please note you will typically need a lot of Boiling Glands if you plan on building the fire mage armor set, get farming those Bombadier Beetles.

You wont need them for anything else, so, mage or players using some form of archery can certainly utilize the usage of these.
