The Spicy Coaltana is a weapon in Grounded 2 that players can get upon defeating the early access end boss during the Networking quest. However, the weapon requires a few materials that are not findable in the game through typical means. How to craft the Spicy Coaltana¶

To craft the Spicy Coaltana, you need the following items:

• 2x Spicy Globs
• 5x EverChar Coal Chunks
• 4x Wolf Spider Chunks

The Wolf Spider parts are fairly simple to get. You simply need to head to the Wolf Spider locations, which are found around:

• Southwest of Terrarium
• Lamppost Spider Den
• Podium
• You probably have the parts already from the Wolf Spider boss the mysterious stranger spawns during the fight.

As for the EverChar Coal Chunks, you simply need to go to the Fire Pit and use your Tier 2 Omnihammer to break the Charcoal clumps up. Be careful of the extreme sizzling damage you take trying to reach the charcoals. You may want o get some Sizzling reduction armor sets to compensate. Oh and be mindful of the O.R.C Cockroaches guarding the area too.

How to get Spicy Globs¶

After defeating the end of the early access boss in the statue, you will find an item called the Sizzling Key. The key will allow you to open a special buried treasure located in the Pine Hills area.

1. Start by venturing up the brambles in the southwest of the zone. Use your buggy to comp through Dead Root path blockers.
2. Take the web bridge towards the phone POI then double back on yourself and ascend the branches to reach the hill area.
3. Travel to the southwest edge of the large Pine Tree till you see the boulder wedge between the two tree roots.
4. Look for the Pop Gun ammo besides a leaf.
5. Go underneath the leaf and use the Tier 2 Shovel near the sparkle.
6. Use the Sizzling Key and the chest will open, containing the Spicy Globs.

With all the items acquired, you can now craft the Spicy Coaltana at your workbench. This is a two handed sword that gives players the slashing and spicy damage effects. Slashing and Spicy is very handy against enemies like the Scorpions, which there are a lot of around the world. You’ll likely need it for the Ice Cream Cart part of the map if you want to complete that zone. As for the armor set, use any old fighter armor to get the benefits from the slashing weapon’s bonus set. Alternatively a rogue set is fine for the triple attack combo.
