Scorpion Venom is a Tier II resource in Grounded 2. Primarily used for the powerful 
Northern Shredders weapon recipe as well as the 
Northern Mask armor recipe. Although the name should give you an idea of where it comes from, it’s not as easy to obtain. Read on to find out where to find Scorpion Venom and what it unlocks.
Scorpion Venom is used in some important items, especially the Scorpidote.

Best Scorpion Venom Locations¶
As you could’ve guessed, Scorpion Venom does indeed come from defeating Scorpions, however, the drop rate appears to be lower from the weaker variants. For this reason, we recommend farming the 
Northern Scorpion Jr as they appear to drop them more often. Saying that, they are a lot more difficult, so if your gear is on the weaker side, you may want to farm the 
Northern Scorplings instead, just be warned that you may have to kill a fair few of them for it to drop.
Northern Scorpion Jr. Locations¶
Starting with the Jr. variant, the best place to find these creatures is in the Pine Hill segment of the map in the far north. From the Ranger Outpost, head northeast, and you’ll find a few caves that you can go in. Inside, you’ll find Northern Scorpion Jr’s. This is in relatively proximity, which makes this one of the best places to find them. Another good place to find them is in the northwest corner of the 
Grass Games segment of the map.
There are only two here, but they’re relatively close by, and if you head west into the Picnic Table area, you’ll find another. In the Grass Games area, they’re generally roaming around the northwest corner of the area; meanwhile, the Picnic Table will be underneath the eastern side of the area, near the frame. Note that all Northern Scorpion Jr’s come alongside some Scorplings, so you may as well hit
The best place to find Northern Scorpion Jr’s is in Pine Hills or Grass Games.
In Pine Hills, check the cave tunnels to find them.
Scorpion Venom Unlocks¶
There’s not much you can use Scorpion Venom for, but what you can use if for is useful. Once you’ve obtained a Scorpion Venom, make sure you get it analyzed at a Ranger Outpost first to unlock the following recipes.

That’s it for the Scorpion Venom, even if you don’t want the weapon and armor piece, the venom is useful for the Scorpidote due to a lot of enemies inflicting venom. So, you’ll want a fair few Scorpion Venoms just for that.
