Boiling Glands are one of the items that players can find in Grounded 2 that offer unique weapon and armor crafts. They can also be used alongside other building places like the Cookery to create strong meals that offer food buffs. You also get hints of this item existing fairly early on, depending on the research you unlock. Yet, there’s no clear indicator of what the item is. So, here’s a closer look at how to get and use Boiling Glands in Grounded 2.

Where to find Boiling Glands?¶

Boiling Glands is an item that players can find from the Bombardier Beetles. They are Tier 2 enemies, typically found roaming around the Entrance area in the early game and some later game areas too.
Now, you can typically find the Bombardier Beetles in the following locations:

1. Directly to the southeast of Ranger Outpost Snackbar on the stone path that borders the Entrance and Ice Cream Cart regions.
2. Climb the plastic cutlery near the table at the north side of the Snackbar region. There’s one around the south end of that table.
3. There’s several around the Flingman on the Southwest side of Pine Hill
4. Northwest of the Trash Can, located south of the Snackbar Ranger Station.
5. Around the stone pathways near the Statue area of the map.

Bombardier Beetles are fairly strong tier 2 enemies. This tips should make your farm more effective.

• Slashing damage - Slashing can be found from the Mitey Claws in the early game.
• Fresh damage when you progress further into the game.
• They are also weak at their rump, which means the rear end of the creature.

You can also find Boiling Glands by doing the Resource Finder Scanner on the map menu. But, the pings for those creatures don’t seem to be too accurate. Not sure if they are spawn points, or the bugs are clipping underground or something like that.

How to use the Boiling Glands¶

Boiling Glands can be used to craft various items.

• You will need one in the Cookery, which gives you access to crafting meals.
• You can also use it to craft Scorching Orb, a magical staff that fires Spicy attacks at ranged to Sizzle foes.
• Sizzling Circlet - Mage gear head piece.
• Bombardier Wall Mount - For your base trophy decorations
