Starting Forlorn Fate - Finding the Sealed Stone Door¶
You begin this quest by speaking to two trapped civilians behind a sealed stone door, which is located in the northeast corner of the trenches area in the forest. From the trenches save point, get on top of the trenches and use the makeshift bridges to reach the northeast corner of them. Just before the path heading up the slope to the east are some stairs leading down. Follow them to the sealed stone door and speak to the civilians behind there. They’ll explain to you that a smuggler trapped them there and that he mentioned going to Talju.
Finding the Smuggler and the Flame Symbol¶
Progress the story until you have access to Talju (Act 2), and when you arrive there, enter the main town area by heading west under the bridge from the APC. Follow the road west past the Pharmacy until you reach the Town Hall. Opposite the Town Hall is a small path next to the fence, continuing west. Follow the narrow path west and drop off the roof at the end.
Go west, and you’ll see some broken walls to the north, through the yard of the nearby burning house. Walk past the broken walls to find some stairs on your right leading up to the second floor of the building. Finally, go up the stairs, defeat the enemies inside the building, and you’ll find a charred corpse in the room at the back. Examine it to get the Key Item:
Symbol - Flame; you’ll need this to open the door, and a map of Senedra Forest.
(1 of 4) Make your way to the Vanderlyn Trust building and go up the stairs to enter it.
How to Complete Forlorn Fate¶
Return to the sealed stone door and place the Symbol - Flame into the socket. The door will open, revealing the civilians, Dolo, and Yohan Dilwich. Finally, trade the Senedra Forest map to one of them, and the Good Deed will be complete.
Forlorn Fate Rewards¶
Make your way to Gildas Brom in Watcher’s Rest, Vyssa Hills, and speak to him to get your reward, which is an
Amine Prism - Theta and the following.

Return to Gildas Brom in Vyssa Hills for your reward.
That’s it for Forlorn Fate. A relatively easy deed that takes a while to complete due to the need to go to Talju to complete it. Fortunately, the rewards more than make up for it.
