Land of Milk and Honey Good Deed Walkthrough

Good Deeds in Hell is Us are side quests involving the citizens of Hadea. These are normally started by either speaking to an NPC or finding an item while exploring. When either of these conditions is met, the Good Deed will get added to the Exploration tab in the menu.

Upon completing a Good Deed, you will need to speak to Gildas Brom in Vyssa Hills to get your reward, which can be anything from Glyphs, to Prisms, or even Relics. The Land of Milk and Honey Good Deed begins in Acasa Marshes and ends in Acasa Marshes, but you’ll need to go to Senedra Forest along the way.

Starting Land of Milk and Honey - Finding Judith Karry¶

Land of Milk and Honey is started by speaking to Judith Karry in Jova, Acasa Marshes. Note that this deed has a failure point. If you don’t finish before Act 1, the deed will fail. Judith Karry is located in the town of Jova, situated in the Acasa Marshes. You can get to Jova by heading west/southwest across the marshes. In Jova, make your way to the southern part of town, near to where the treehouse and Rebecca can be found, and you’ll find a well with a ladder leading down.

Take the ladder down into the tunnels and head northeast toward the light, where you’ll find another ladder. Take that down, and at the bottom, follow the southwest past the lantern, and follow it around until you reach a gate. Now take the nearby southeast path and follow the path through the first room into a second, larger room. In the western corner is another ladder with a lantern at the bottom of it.

Take the ladder up, follow the path north, and then go down the ladder to the west. Finally, follow the southern path around to find Judith and her baby. Speak to her to find out her baby is starving and that she has no milk to give it. In the same room are some empty milk bottles. Pick them up, and exit the tunnels.

There is another, arguably quicker way to get to Judith. In Jova, go south until you reach the garage. To the right of it is a house with a drunk man inside (another deed). In the basement of the house is a ladder leading to the same tunnels. Go down the ladder, head east to the intersection, and then go north and west to find another ladder. Take that down to the lower floor and head south toward the gate, and then west to find Judith.

How to Fill the Baby Bottles¶

You may recall that there was a cow alive back at the Caddell Farm in Senedra Forest. So, make your way back to the APC and travel to Senedra Forest. From the APC, go back into the woods and follow the Wind Chimes back to the farm. At the farm, go into the basement and trade the empty milk bottles to Ernest Caddell. He will fill them up for you, giving you the Baby Bottles - Filled Key Item.

How to Complete Land of Milk and Honey¶

Now that you have the bottles filled, make your way back to the APC (use the save point to fast travel to it) and return to Jova in the Acasa Marshes. In Jova, go back to the well, down the ladders, and back to Judith. Trade with her the Baby Bottles - Filled, and you’ll complete the deed. Note that this must be done before you finish the Lymbic Forge area at the end of Act 1 or the baby will die and Judith will be grieving it.
