Waylaid

Waylaid is one of the Good Deeds in Acasa Marshes, which players will need to work through when picking up items in entirely different areas. The Waylaid Good Deed helps the two stranded ON Peacekeepers stuck in the ruins of the Obelisk in the south west corner of Acasa Marshes. You will need to find Metformin medicine and a working radio for each one’s needs. Here’s how to complete the Waylaid Good Deed in Hell is Us.

Waylaid Walkthrough¶

To complete this Good Deed, you will need to do the following:

• Grab the Pill Bottle - Metformin from inside the Pharmacy in the Telju map area, involved with the Keystone of Terror investigation in Act 2.
• The Radio is from the Lethe - Ministry of Propaganda, another Act 2 area that you unlock.

You’ll need to visit both of these locations and complete some progress on each zone to get the items you need. Once you pick either of these items up, you get the Waylaid Good Deed start in your Investigation menu.

How to get into the Pharmacy in Talju and get the Metformin¶

The Pill - Bottle Metaformin is inside the pharmacy store that you can find along the main road when you enter town. Simply go through the underpass your APC is parked up against and turn left. Not, you will get the Pharmacy Keys to enter the building by the Week of Peace Tree down the road from the Pharmacy. But, the front door is barred, and the rear entrance is currently blocked by an ON Vehicle.

To enter the area, you will need to play the main quest of the area with Caspian Fran. You’ll need to do the following:

1. Go into the Town Hall, speak to Caspian.
2. Go find his son in the maintenance shed by the school.
3. Give his son the walkie talkie he gave you.
4. Now go for back to the Town Hall and get the parking lot key.
5. Go to the rear of the building and kill the Timeloop Guardian
6. Speak to Caspian again, and they’ll depart on the ON truck and give you access to the Pharmacy

How to get the Satellite Radio¶

Now, to get the radio you need to go to Lethe’s Propaganda building, which you get at the start of Act 2.

When you get into the building, you will need to:

1. Get a keycard from the parking lot lower level. You’ll loot it from a corpse by the van and the stretcher.
2. Head upstairs where the ON Peacekeepers are guarding the parking lot entrance.
3. Go to the top floor of the stairwell and enter the offices, going through the main office into the hallway where you can find the NPCS around eh hall and offices.
4. Go towards Wing A and look for an Office next to the Wing A sign.
5. Use the keycard on the door to the right.
6. Enter the room and open the door on the right again to get to a ON Peacekeeper corpse.
7. Loot the Satellite Radio from the corpse and now return to the Obelisk in Acasa marshes.

Rewards¶

Return to the obelisk in the southwest, and enter it. Give the radio to Roho Katungi and the Metformin to Typhon Guile to complete the Waylaid Good Deed.
