The A Way Out good deed is one of the rare occasions where both the Sabinians and Palomists are actually working together to help each other out. In this instance, the Sabinian government official is in the basement of the National Library, working with the book restorer to help forge fake identities to help innocent Palomists escape the genocide. A Way Out Walkthrough¶
Once you’ve managed to get through the National Library,m ands unlocked you r way into the book restorer’s room, you’ll find some interesting items. You will learn there is a way to forge items in the Propaganda building in Lethe, which is where this next takes you.
Once you’ve ridden your APC to the Propaganda Building, you’ll need to look for the following items:
- Blank ID Cards
- Official Stamp
When you arrive in the Cultural building of Lethe, you need to do the following:
- Go through the door where the ON Peacekeepers are
- Head all the way through the stairs and then to the hallways.
- Go down the hole in the floor where the A Wing is. Speak to the woman in the room next to it to progress the main story in there while you’re at it and kill the creature.
- In the floor below, head through the museum area, and turn right.
- Follow the path into the downstairs offices.
- Pickup the Blank ID Cards in Office 112 from the desk.
- Now go to the safe on the wall and enter the code: 2703 in room 109
- You’ll loot the Official Hadean Stamp from the safe. If you’#re curios the code comes from a note inside the Lethe - national Library called Favour Owed.

Now you have both items, you can return to the Sabinian in the National -Library basement. Give both items to her, and they can all flee together. Be advised though that if you only do this, you can fail the Incognito Good Deed too. We recommend doing both at the same time. You can read some tips in the spoiler box below.
Warning: It is possible to fail the Incognito Good Deed if you leave for the Library before finishing it. If you leave the Cultural Building then the ON soldier you need to save will die.
Make sure to grab the keycard from the lower level of the parking lot and open the office door that requires an item in Wing A. You will grab some civilian clothes. You can then walk towards the room near the reception area and hand her the clothes to save her.

If you return to the Library after completing the Deed, you will find the basement empty. The NPCs will successfully escape the Library, heading off somewhere.
Return to the Vigil Elder in Watcher’s Nest. You will be awarded:
