Lake Cynon is the next major area that players visit once they solve the Watcher’s Nest area of Vyssa Hills. The map is very small at first, but will become a much larger area when you deal with the lead you get from the Nest. When you arrive at the blue flower area, you need to solve a puzzle to make your way through the land. Here’s how to complete the Lake Cynon Reservoir puzzle.

Reservoir Pillar Puzzle¶
To solve the puzzle, players need to hit the pillars in the following order:
- Crown - Northwest
- Water - Southwest
- Key - Northeast
- Star - Southeast
- Cup - on the platform
Check your note you get from the Nest, and locate the corners the pillars are, alongside the one to the east of the pool on the platform above. You can get the notes of the order from the statues with 5 dots on the side. There’s a few around the reservoir itself, the elevated position, and
The Blue Flower Scroll also gives you the key in the middle slot, meaning you can get the order from the statues and scroll.
When all 5 pillars are lit up, you can find a circle along the stairs to the hillside of the reservoir. The white circle will give you a Gear - Spindle, which you can then use at the reservoir at the bottom of the steps you’re on. Placing the Spindle there will result in the reservoir activating, allowing you to drain the water and enter the Lymbic Forge, the next major area of the Act 1.
At the bottom of the well there’s a few items to pick up. There’s also one of the Lymbic chests at the bottom for you to remember. Once you enter the area, you can explore and find the Lymbic Forge, which is a very large dungeon filled with more puzzles, chests and areas to explore.
