Meandering Hills Ruins Puzzle - Reunion Walkthrough
There are two types of fast travel in Crimson Desert - Abyss Nexuses are your standard waypoints that you find, stand on until they glow blue, after which you can travel to them whenever you wish. The second type, Abyss Cressets, aren’t advertised as fast travel, rather being puzzles you solve to obtain Abyss Artifacts, but once solved you can use Abyss Cressets as fast Travel waypoints just like Abyss Nexuses. That being the case, this page will provide the locations of every Abyss Cresset in Crimson Desert.
Page Breakdown¶
Look for big question marks on the map - these are either Abyss Nexuses or Abyss Cressets. Either way, potential sources of fast travel!
Once you’ve solved the puzzle at an Abyss Cresset, you can use it as a fast travel waypoint!
Finding, Unlocking and Using Abyss Cresset Fast Travel Points¶
As mentioned earlier, Abyss Cressets do not appear as viable fast travel waypoints. It takes an inquisitive gamer to hover over a completed Abyss Cresset on the map and notice that you can teleport to them. Like Abyss Nexuses, they will appear as big question marks on a cloudy background on the map when exploring - head over to these markers and investigate the area to find the ruins that inevitably mark the Abyss Cresset.
Abyss Cressets are primarily puzzles, and each one is different - some have you using skills like Force Palm and Axiom Force, others are more mundane; moving stones, lighting fires, turning levers, etc. Whatever the rules of the puzzle, once you solve it you’ll be able to loot the Abyss Cresset to obtain an Abyss Artifact, which you can use to purchase new skills or expend during gear refinement. In any event, once you’ve solved an Abyss Cresset you can use them as a fast travel way point - just select the icon on the map and hold down to teleport to the desired Abyss Cresset!

Abyss Cresset Locations¶
There are honestly quite a few Abyss Nexuses strewn across the map, enough that you’ve got fairly good fast travel coverage without Abyss Cressets… but why settle for less when you don’t have to? Add the two together and Crimson Desert has a very generous fast travel network, indeed! Below you’ll find the location of every Abyss Cresset we’ve found so far:
