Chain Reaction Walkthrough & Lucy Choices
Treasure Map D3 Location, Safe Code & Rewards
The Treasure Map A1 is one of the first treasure hunt optional open world content that players can find. These events give vague depictions of where some decent rewards are, should you wish to find them. In this case, the treasure is actually really close to where you find it, but you’ll need to do a mini-game to get it. Here’s how to get the Treasure Map A1 rewards in Dying Light: The Beast.
Treasure Map A1 Rewards¶
(1 of 5) You can get this map from a bench southeast from the Monastery by one of those observation deck picnic areas. Image via Gamer Guides / Techland.
From the pagoda picnic area you’re at Map Marker, you want to head south from it, towards a larger building. It should take you to a Park Ranger Station, with the two garage doors you can see in the treasure map. Now, to get inside, you need to power the garage up. To do so, you need to do the following:
- Go towards the garage door, and check the wall to the right of it as you enter from the road.
- Turn 180 degrees from that wall, and enter the small storage shed.
- When inside, you need to take the power cable towards the fuse box on the wall we mentioned.
- Wait for the garage doors to power up and lift.
- While this happens, Volatiles will come towards you in waves, and nearby zombies will gather towards your location. Defeat them, and the doors should eventually lift up.
- Now head inside, you should find a few zombies inside guarding the garage space.
- At the back of the garage should be a corridor leading to a hard lockpick door. Lockpick it. You can create lockpicks on the go after the tutorial missions.
When inside, you should find plenty of lootable items in there. The big ticket item is a legendary SMG called the Needle, along with 40 rounds of SMG ammo for it. This is quite strong, as a few rounds will often kill a viral or biter. You can shoot more into bigger guys, and do some serious damage too. Map Marker.
But, be warned the SMG will easily spray through those 40 rounds. You might want to consider finding more SMG ammo from the cargo POIs around the map. They often give ammunition, but are random at the best of times.
This concludes how to complete the Treasure Map A1 in Dying Light: The Beast. Also, if you read the note next to where you found the map, it alludes to there being a lot of treasure to find in the Villa area, which is a level 6 region in the northern central part of the map. They should be some good leads when you level up.
