Beginner Manual Pages are one of the early game key items you can find that enable you to upgrade blueprints from their blue quality to higher tiers. This will keep some of the early game blueprints more relevant as you level up and progress through the game. More importantly, better blueprints means better mods and so, you can really improve your blueprints and weapon availability with your crafting materials. Yet, to do so, you will need to get Beginner Manual Pages. Here’s how to get them in Dying Light: The Beast.

The best place to find Beginner Manual Pages in Dying Light: The Beast is in Dark Zones. While the key items you can get from them may mention them, we tend to find at least 1-2 per Dark Zone. The good news is that these respawn, and seem to be in set locations in each one. That’s a lot of guaranteed farming for your blueprint upgrades from blue to purple quality.

In terms of the best specific locations, we recommend rotating between the

• Dark Zone America Store Map Marker
• Dark Zone Pharmacy Map Marker

These are two Dark Zones that are extremely close in distance to each other, and have one room of zombies to deal with. A simple molotov or two by bringing them to the door should do the trick to clear it out easily enough. When you can get inside, the manual pages should be around. We also recommend using our map to find some blueprints you might want to use for your build too. There are a few in these Dark Zones, and you get others from missions, main stories, or exploring and finding them out in the world.
