Oxidizers are one of the rarer items to find for your standard crafting requirements in Dying Light: The Beast. These things are not often found while exploring or looting, and they are needed to craft various things like weapon mods, and even the flamethrower. If you want to do some heavy weapon mod crafting for your higher level and tier weapons, or fancy burning the enemies, here’s how to get Oxidizers in Dying Light: The Beast.

Oxidizer Locations¶
The best place we have found to get Oxidizers is from the Dark Zone areas. However, there are generally better locations. The best of the Dark Zones are as follows:
- Pharmacy Map Marker
- America Store Map Marker
The pharmacy seems to be the best location to get the Oxidizers, thanks to the more chemical-related items you can get. You can get anywhere between 1-4 Oxidizers per run. The loot table depends on what generates for your game though. The loot spawns from them are typically to the right of the pharmacy, at the counter, on the central shelves, and can spawn in the locked room too.
The other area we have seen them spawn is in the America Store. This is generally better for electronic-related items, but since it is a luxury store, Oxidizers do have a small chance to spawn in.
Other areas you can try are in the more generalized apartment buildings. They seem better for mixed crafts and valuables, but it doesn’t stop them from spawning, just don’t go into them expecting to get them. Otherwise, go look for more specialist Dark Zones that can give you the drop.
