The Recipes are one of the collectible types in Dying Light: The Beast. Players will want to get these recipes as part of the platinum effort for grabbing the Cabinet of Curiosities achievement, which requires you to find all collectibles in the game. So, here’s where to find all the recipe types in the game.

All Recipe Locations¶

| Czarnecki’s Blood Sausage | Inside the monastery grounds. You need to head to the northern part of the grounds and visit the Bistro. Pick lock your way in and head to the basement for the recipe. | Map Marker |
| Bread Roll with Banana | Northeast from the Monastery. Go over the river and make your way to the rocky area on the map behind the white building. There should be a notice board around that area with the recipe pinned on it. | Map Marker |
| Strawberry Pasta | Go towards the Hardwood Art Gallery and then visit the building to the northwest where the path leads towards through the gardens. Head inside the building called the Ashion and then head into te kitchen for the recipe. | Map Marker |
| Steak Tartare | Make your way to the Town Hall and then to the south of the square, go to the window above the Guided Tours cart. Head inside and unlock the door on the left to get the recipe. | Map Marker |
| Carrot Cake | Make your way to where the “H” is on the Old Town map, near the church. You should find a house with a bike outside it. You can enter that house and check the kitchen for a recipe inside. | Map Marker |
| Beaver Tail | This one requires you progress the side quest chain you get from Doug in the Town Hall. When you get to the final part of the quest chain (Part 4), you will be able to enter the lower levels of the library building. The recipe is on the top floor of the main library (not to be confused with the safe spot on the library.) | Map Marker |
| Flemish Carbonade by Nathan’s Mom | Go to the Mental Asylum island (level 11), and then visit the restaurant where the knife and fork icon is on the map - in the southeast side of the island. Head into that restaurant and check for the recipe at the counter. | Map Marker |
| Iris’ Quince Liqueur | Go to the Nate Market Dark Zone in the Farmlands area along the main road near The Vale. Go to the roof of the Dark Zone, and then break in via smashing the window boards, then enter the kitchen to get the recipe. | Map Marker |
| Fruit Dumplings by Jori’s Grandma | Go to the houses in Pembroke, directly below the “m” in Pembroke on the map. Go to the small houses, and check the kitchen for the recipe. | Map Marker |
This should nab all nine of the recipe collectibles in Dying Light: The Beast. This marks one of the collectible categories needed to get the Cabinet of Curiosity trophy, which requires all collectibles before unlocking.
