How to Open the Organ Box
All Rhodes Hill Lockpicks and Simple Lock Locations
As you explore the Rhodes Hill facility as Grace, you will encounter different features to interact with for loot. One of these is the safe deposits scattered around Rhodes Hill, with each requiring a code to enter to get the rewards. If you want to maximize the upgrades available to Grace, then you will want to open the different safes in Rhodes Hill in Resident Evil Requiem.
Here’s a look at how to open the Safes on Rhodes Hill in Resident Evil Requiem. Image via Gamer Guides.
All Safe Codes in Rhodes Hill¶
To find and open all the safes, you need to do the following:
- 2F Bar and Lounge - 10L-80R-30L - 3 Coins
- 1F Exam Room - 30R-10L-50R - 3 Coins
- 1F East Wing Waiting Room - Already open at the desk - 2 Coins
- Basement - 60R-40L-80R - 10 Handgun Ammo and a file that gives you map markers for the Raccoons if you’ve been near them
For the most part, the rewards from each safe tend to be coins. They are a decent way of getting the coins you need to get all the upgrades from the Coin Locker Room, so they are well worth getting on your first playthrough when you’re learning the game.
The only exception to this is the Basement safe. This instead awards ammo and a file that gives you map markers for the Raccoon Statue collectibles. If you’ve seen one and didn’t realize it, or walked past one, then it should appear on the map for Grace. Note this does not carry over to Leon in other chapters, so this is exclusively an unlockable perk for Grace.
How to Open Safes in Resident Evil: Requiem¶
Note that the safe code mechanics are different to other games. You need to start at zero, then follow the direction suggested to reach the number, then go to the next number using the suggested direction. Do that again for the third number, then press the check button to lock in your results. If you press check while on each number, it will reset the mechanism and the safe will not open.
All Safe Locations in Rhodes Hill¶
As for the locations of each safe, you will need to progress a bit to find each one. To reach the Bar and Lounge, head upstairs from the West Wing. The Exam Room and East Wing safes require unlocking the East Wing to access them. Note the East Wing safe is already open and provides a file for finding the locations of the other two safes on this level.
Meanwhile, the Basement safe is technically in a separate level that you unlock near the end of Rhodes Hill’s main care home area. You will unlock this as Grace when nearing the end of finding the third quartz, so play the main quest as normal to get it.
Safe Code File Locations¶
You need to find the Files to learn the safe codes organically, and to also collect files for the bonuses and trophy hunting. Image via Gamer Guides / Capcom.
Each code comes from a file in the Rhodes Hill Care Home. If you’re trophy hunting, then you want to find all files for these safes, which are as follows:
-
Bar & Lounge Safe Code - 2F West Wing Office - You find it as Grace on a desk in that room. Requires unlocking the stairway near the garage to get to it.
-
Safe Replacements - 1F East Wing Waiting Room - Behind the reception desk on the west side of the room. Requires East Wing Card as Grace to get it.
-
Basement Safe Code - Attic - Warped Closet after the Chunk encounter as Leon. Requires beating the Quartz main mission as Grace to get.
With that said, you should now know how to find and open the safes in Resident Evil Requiem’s Rhodes Hill level. We also have guides on finding all Simple Locks and Lockpicks too if you need them.
