What Does the Severed Hand Do?
Infinite Ammo is one of the cornerstones of replayability in Resident Evil games. Going into Requiem, the bonus content is also unlockable in-game for players wanting to punch through everything. However, to get it, you need 50,000 CP. Here’s how to get Infinite Ammo in Resident Evil Requiem.

How to Unlock Infinite Ammo¶
To unlock Infinite Ammo in Resident Evil Requiem, you will need to first complete the main story on any difficulty. This will then start unlocking more of the bonus content and challenges available to players.
You can then go into the bonuses section on the menu and check what benefits you can buy.
When you check the weapons section, you can find Infinite Ammo for 50,000 CP, which unlocks that infinite buff for all guns. There’s also infinite durability on the hatchet for 20,000 CP and infinite RPGs for 35,000 CP, alongside needing to buy the RPG for 15,000 CP too.
That’s a whole lot of points you need for those big purchases.
When you finish a campaign, you will typically have between 10,000 - 15,000 points, depending on what difficulty you completed the game on. These tend to be awarded for simple challenges you can do in-game, which are by and large associated with trophies.
To get the remaining points, your big ticket challenges are often completing the game on Classic difficulty, alongside doing minimalist or no healing runs through the entire game. If you can complete the game in under 4 hours too, that’s like 20,000 points. There’s another big challenge that gives 20,000 CP, but it is not yet figured out.
After completing the game, we recommend you run a casual difficulty run and try to do the minimalist, no healing, and the sub-4-hour playthrough. You will likely know where all the stuff is to progress the main story as fast as possible, and difficulty is toned down dramatically on enemies, making combat much easier to survive.
It should make the sub-4-hour run much easier to do, alongside the healing challenge if you can prep and parry well enough for certain combat encounters.
This should net you enough points to get the CP needed to buy the bonus Infinite Ammo in Resident Evil Requiem.
Also, we have a walkthrough on finding all file locations in Requiem too. And we are working on all the Raccoon statues too, which you can find on our interactive maps if you’d like some help for even more bonus points.
