Insanity Mode Guide: Unlock, tips and other suggestions for beating it
Raccoon Statues are one of the collectibles in Resident Evil Requiem that award players with trophies and also a lot of points to spend in the bonus store. In fact, it’s one of the easiest ways to get a whole load of bonus points to start spending on upgrades like new guns, infinite ammo, and other features. If you wanted to, you can get a reward from the bonus content to make it easier on finding the Raccoon Statues on re-runs of the game. Yet, you can take a look at our Raccoon Statue guide for Resident Evil Requiem to save yourself on BPs and find them easier for the real stuff you want to buy.
All Raccoon Statue Locations¶
In total, there are 25 Raccoon Statues in Resident Evil Requiem. We will split each level into separate headings so you can easily find the ones you may be missing in-game per level. Rhodes Hill Raccoon Statue Locations¶
This is arguably the hardest Raccoon Statue to find on Rhodes Hill, best seen via Leon. Image via Gamer Guides / Capcom.
Rhodes Hill is by far the biggest map with the Raccoon Statues. Be advised the level splits off at different stages. You will find most in the Rhodes Hill center as normal. However, there are a few that lurk around some harder to see hotspots, which are extremely missable. If you lose them, you need to reload to a previous save point or re-run the campaign again.
| Location | Description | Map Marker |
|---|---|---|
| Rehabilitation Ward Exit | During Leon, after leaving the Rehabilitation Ward, look for it on your left before you go up some stairs, hard to miss. Missable | Map Marker |
| 1F East Wing – East Wing Lobby | On the desk as Grace, visible after using the East Wing Keycard andf entering the very first room. | Map Marker |
| 1F East Wing – Eastern Stairwell | Near the eastern stairwell in the room near the patient waiting room. | Map Marker |
| 2F West Wing Kitchenette | On top of the coffee machine after taking the stairs near the Garage. Requires 1st Level Access Wristband to reach. | Map Marker |
| 2F West Wing Records Room | Inside the cabinet – Requires Leon | Map Marker |
| 1F Medication Room | Open the cell next to the girl and check behind the bed (requires Level 3 Access) | Map Marker |
| Basement Bunk Room | Complete the main Rhodes Hill Level and unlock the Basement as Grace. Power the Bunk Room in the basmenet, near the save point. Now look on top of the TV to get the Raccoon Statue. | Map Marker |
| Basement Workshop | Found on the table as Grace - Requires powering the room to the far left of the cell block. | Map Marker |
| Courtyard – Rooftop | When controlling Leon and helping Grace with the sniper rifle, run across the rooftop and then to the window where there’s some ammo. Take aim at the gate near Grace to find a Raccoon statue, MISSABLE. – Grace can also see this near the fence towards the Chapel when accessing the Courtyard after escaping the Basement with Emily. | Map Marker |
| Courtyard – Private Lab | Requires completing Basement as Grace and accessing the hidden lab below the helicopter building. | Map Marker |
East Raccoon City¶
You need to check the motorway from the rooftops to see this Raccoon Statue. Image via Gamer Guides / Capcom.
Another hard to find statue, thnaks to it hiding in an otherwise inaccessible spot. Image via Gamer Guides / Capcom.
All of these are shootable with Leon after the events of the Rhodes Hill levels. Be warned these are easily missable, with the Raccoon Statues in otherwise hard-to-see places. Make sure to use the sniper rifle scopes to make it much easier to track the Raccoon Statue locations we mention below.
| Location | Description | Map Marker |
|---|---|---|
| Cafe Oasis | Inside Cafe Oasis as Leon towards the start of the level. | Map Marker |
| Central Camp Sinkhole | Next to the Central Camp, in the huge sinkhole. Aim towards the broken pipe on the right of the sinkhole and you should see it. | Map Marker |
| Underground Parking Garage | Open the apartment area next to the Central Camp as Leon and then head into the underground area. It’s in the room on the left of the corridor near the stealth takedown tutorial. | Map Marker |
| Sinkhole Bus | Cross over the sinkhole by going through the Warehouse. Check the bodies of the soldiers. Look north towards the bus. It is inside the bus driver area. | Map Marker |
| Bridge Van | Take the elevator up by Central Camp, then look across to the bridge to spot it on a van | Map Marker |
| Gas Station | Enter the Gas Station after the apartment section as Leon. | Map Marker |
| Willis Tower | Beat the Fuel Station area and then get the fuel to traverse the zipline to Willis Tower from the roof of the Warehouse. Climb the office area where the tower collapses. Check for a room towards the bottom right corner to find the Raccoon Statue inside. | Map Marker |
| Ridgewood Station | North of the Central Camp, take the ladder down into the subway. Statue is inside a ruined train car | Map Marker |
| Cedarbrook Apartments | Top floor of the stairwell area, inside the fridge, after unlocking the pathway using the Crank | Map Marker |
Raccoon City Center¶
Here’s an example of the RPD Library Rac statue hiding. Image via Gamer Guides / Capcom.
Okay it gets much easier from this point onwards. Make sure to do these in order as it’s very east to lock yourself out of each level stage otherwise.
| Location | Description | Map Marker |
|---|---|---|
| Level Start – Tipped Over Tanker | As you enter the level, continue walking up the road. It’s by the tipped over tanker. Avoid going towards RPD until you get this as you cannot leave otherwise. | Map Marker |
| RPD Operations Room | Inside the 1F Operations Room in RPD. The Raccoon Statue is hidden under a plank of wood by the western rubble where the outer wall and window should be. (It is the same wall where the the easter egg happens at!) | Map Marker |
| RPD Library | Go towards the second vertical pathway in the Library in RPD on the right side of the room. Look left towards the large bookcases. There’s a hole in shelf with a pile of books blocking the bottom. The statue is hiding behind that book pile. | Map Marker |
| Kendo Gun Shop Alley | After you go through Kendo Gun Shop, instead of continuing north, go down the alley and to the end. Look up and into the window. | Map Marker |
ARK¶
The ARK staues get much easier from here on out. Image via Gamer Guides / Capcom.
There’s only two more on this level and you should grab them all at this point onwards
| Location | Description | Map Marker |
|---|---|---|
| Corridor South of Staff Room | In the corridor south of the Staff Room, near some cages. | Map Marker |
| Operations Room | On the southern terminal as you play as Grace. | Map Marker |
