How to Get Infinite Ammo
How to Solve The Final Puzzle
The Severed Hand is an item that players can get their ‘hands’ on in Resident Evil Requiem after the basement segment of Rhodes Hill Care Home. The item is largely useless, but it does have a special interaction you can take care of while in the Care Home level. Here’s everything you need to know about the Severed Hand in Resident Evil Requiem.

How to Use the Severed Hand¶
The Severed Hand is by and large useless for the main questline stuff. However, you can take it to a Blood Analyzer machine in Rhodes Hill. It will give you a DNA sequence to solve like other crafting recipes you analyze.
It will then grant you a screen pop-up that says “let’s play.” It then gives a series of codes that translate to RNA markups that give the phrase GLITCH.
This then gives you some clues later on, which you can unlock by investigating the Hourglass when you unlock the room near the helipad in the Courtyard. There’s also a doll head in Central Raccoon City that when you roll it into a basketball hoop, it gives you a clue about a phrase that does not work.
Counting that hunt, alongside the code you get from the Hourglass and the converted code from the Severed Hand, it gives you an indication of what code to use in the Chairman’s room to get more puzzle information.
This is where the Final Puzzle ends, and where the Severed Hand utility runs dry. Not too sure exactly what else there is to it, but it’s certainly an interesting puzzle. If you’re interested in trying to solve it, there is SynthPotato on X who is doing a very good job at getting far into the puzzle. But otherwise, I’m not sure what else there is to say about it right now.
