New to Metal Gear Solid Delta are GA-KO figures, yellow duck dolls that join Kerotan dolls as collectibles you’ll need to keep an eye out for as you advance through the game. There are 64 of these GA-KO in total, and if you thought they’d be easy to spot due to their bright yellow coloration, you’ll be sad to know that these crafty birds have taken a page out of Snake’s playbook by wearing camouflage. This page will help you find all 64 GA-KO in Metal Gear Solid Delta, with both text and screenshots guiding you to your targets!

A map of all the GA-KO locations during Operation Virtuous.

Dremuchij, Dolinvodno & Rassvet GA-KO - Operation Virtuous

GA-KO 1-5 can only be found during Operation Virtuous, so be sure to find them all before approaching the objective on the Rassvet screen. During Operation Snake Eater there will be different GA-KO to find.

During Operation Virtuous, climb a tree to get your backpack, then climb the same tree again and look east to spot this GA-KO on a ledge.

GA-KO 1 - Dremuchij South

In the very first area of the game (Dremuchij South), during Operation Virtuous you’ll find your first GA-KO (along with your first Kerotan, for what that’s worth). From where you start, head north, crawl under a fallen tree and ahead of you is a tree you can climb - you have to climb this tree to get your backpack. The Ga-ko and Kerotan are on a ledge to the east of this tree. You can see both clearly from the branch you climb onto, from the ground, and from a side path you can wrap around.

During Operation Virtuous, in the Dremuchij South area, find this GA-KO on a swamp island between a cluster of trees.

GA-KO 2 - Dremuchij Swampland

This GA-KO is hiding in plain sight, during Operation Virtuous, in the Dremuchij Swampland area. Head to the open swampy area crawling with gavial. Weird for a reptile native to the Americas to be chilling out in Russia, but to each their own. Anywho, this Ga-ko is on an island in the middle of the swamp, on the ground amidst a cluster of trees.

During Operation Virtuous, search the northwestern edge of the Dremuchij North area to find this GA-KO on a fallen tree.

GA-KO 3 - Dremuchij North

During Operation Virtuous, on the Dremuchij North map. Look for this GA-KO along the northeastern edge of this area, it’s atop a fallen (horizontal) tree in front of a rock, next to a bush.

Cross the bridge in Dolinovodno during Operation Virtuous, and when you’re on the northern edge of the bridge, look north to find this GA-KO on a ledge.

GA-KO 4 - Dolinovodno

In the Dolinovodno area, during Operation Virtuous. Cross the bridge in the middle of this area and once across look north to find this GA-KO on a ledge ahead.

Enter the brick ruins in Rassvet 1F during Operation Virtuous and find a climbable area leading to a storage room. This GA-KO is on a shelf just opposite the spot you can climb up.

GA-KO 5 - Rassvet 1F

Enter the red brick ruins along the northern edge of the map and head the the northwestern most point. To the left (west ) will be a fence beyond which is Kerotan 5. To the right (east), however, you’ll find a ledge you can climb up, leading into a storeroom. This GA-KO is on a shelf just opposite of where you can climb up.

A map of the GA-KO in the Dremuchij, Dolinvodno and Rassvet areas during Operation Snake Eater.

Dremuchij, Dolinvodno & Rassvet GA-KO - Operation Snake Eater

After Operation Virtuous, Snake will return to Dremuchij for Operation Snake Eater, and new GA-KO can now be found in the Dremuchij, Dolinvodno and Rassvet areas, replacing the old ones. These include GA-KO 6-11. You must get GA-KO 6 in Dremuchij East before dropping down the ledge in Dremuchij North, and once you enter Bolshaya Past Crevice, all the previous GA-KO will become unobtainable.

During Operation Snake Eater you’ll start out in Dremuchij East. Find this GA-KO under a fallen tree

GA-KO 6 - Dremuchij East

From the clearing where you start head north to a larger area. Search the western edge of this area to find a collapsed tree - the GA-KO is uphill along the edge of the area, under a fallen tree. There’s also a Kerotan nearby, just to the left, near the stump of the fallen tree. Note that once you slide down the slope in Dremuchij North (the next screen), you cannot return to get this GA-KO or Kerotan.

During Operation Snake Eater you’ll return to Rassvet. After dealing with the event there, climb a ladder along the northeastern edge of the ruins and turn south to find this GA-KO on a broken section of roof.

GA-KO 7- Rassvet

During Operation Snake Eater you’ll need to return to Rassvet for a story event, after which you’ll be free to explore again and there will be new GA-KOs to find. Head around to the northeastern edge of the brick ruins to find a ladder leading to the roof. Climb it and turn south to find this GA-KO on a ruined section of roof across a gap. You can shoot it from the ground, but it’s much easier to spot from up here.

From the northern side of the bridge in Dolinovodno, look east to spot this GA-KO on a ledge. It’s below a much more obvious Kerotan.

GA-KO 8 - Dolinovodno

During Operation Snake Eater, backtrack to Dolinovodno and head to the northern end of the bridge. From here look east to find a ledge where you’ll easily spot Kerotan 4. What’s harder to spot is the GA-KO below it, as its camouflaged side is facing the bridge, making it hard to see any distinctive yellow duckie unless you’re somewhat close and know what to look for.

During Operation Snake Eater, in the southernmost open area. Look northwest to find a broken tree near the crashed shuttle. This GA-KO is on top of the broken tree.

GA-KO 9 - Dremuchij North

During Operation Snake Eater, backtrack to Dremuchij North and head to the southernmost open area (the trails leading back to Dremuchij East and Dremuchij Swampland run off this area). This GA-KO is atop a small broken tree along the northwestern edge of the clearing, near the (now destroyed) shuttle Snake returned in.

During Operation Snake Eater, backtrack to the Dremuchij Swampland to find this GA-KO on a fallen tree along the eastern coast of the swamp.

GA-KO 10 - Dremuchij Swampland

Backtrack to the Dremuchij Swampland during Operation Snake Eater and cross the swamp again. On the eastern bank of the swamp you’ll find this GA-KO on top of a fallen tree.

During Operation Snake Eater, backtrack all the way to Dremuchij South and look off the southernmost cliffs to the southwest to spot this well-camouflaged GA-KO on the cliff face.

GA-KO 11 - Dremuchij South

During Operation Snake Eater, return all the way to Dremuchij South, where Operation Virtuous began, and head to the cliffs along the southernmost edge of the map. From the absolute southernmost point on this map, look out over the cliffs to the southwest to spot this GA-KO well camouflaged on the cliffside ahead of you.

A map of all the GA-KO in the Chyornyj Prud and Bolshaya regions.

Chyornyj Prud & Bolshaya GA-KO

GA-KO 12-15 can be found in the Chyornyj Prud and Bolshaya regions. You must find GA-KO 12-14 before exiting to Bolshaya Past Crevice, and you must obtain GA-KO 15 during the boss fight. Once the boss fight has been won you won’t be able to obtain any of the 15 GA-KO recorded up to this point.

Swim across the pond to the northeastern shore and look northwest to spot this GA-KO on a tree branch.

GA-KO 12 - Chyornj Prud

Swim across the pond and reach the northeastern shore, then from the northern end of this shore look out northwest to spot a tree growing out of the water along the northern boundary of the area. This GA-KO is on the tree’s branch.

Climb under an electric fence to reach a strip of land between two electric fences. Head to the western edge of this land between the fences (be wary of Claymores), climb a tree and turn hwest to find this GA-KO on a higher branch.

GA-KO 13 - Bolshaya Past South

Whether you entered from Chyomj Prud’s northwestern or northeastern exit, you’ll have to crawl under an electrified fence to find another electrified fence in your way to the north. There are also plenty of Claymore mines spread between these two electrified fences (we counted ten in total) but you can just crawl over them to disarm and claim them for yourself. The Mine Detector item will help with this. Once the Claymores are cleared, follow the second fence west to find a tree you can climb. Climb up to this tree’s branch and look west to find this GA-KO on a branch above you.

In the northeastern corner of the Bolshaya Past Base area is a small building. This GA-KO is on the northwestern corner of its roof.

GA-KO 14 - Bolshaya Past Base

Search the northeastern corner of this map to find a small storage building. This GA-KO is on the northwestern edge of this building’s roof.

Head to the northwestern most cover (a tree and a stone wall) during the Ocelot fight and look at a mound to the northwest to spot this well-camouflaged GA-KO.

GA-KO 15 - Bolshaya Past Crevice

You’ll have to find this GA-KO during the fight with Ocelot. Fortunately there’s not a whole lot of space to explore, as you’re blocking from crossing the crevice to the north or backtracking to the south. Head to the northwesternmost cover on the ground you’ve access to (a tree and a shoddy wall) and look out to the northwest to spot some nondescript brown rocks and dirt. One of these clumps of rock is actually a well camouflaged GA-KO. Be wary of the poisonous snake crawling around nearby.

Locations of all the GA-KO in the Chyornaya Peschera Cave Branch and Ponizovje maps.

Chyornaya Peschera Cave Branch & Ponizovje GA-KO

After the boss fight in Bolshaya Past Crevice, Snake will find himself in the Chyornaya Peschera Cave Branch area. In these areas and in the adjacent Ponizovje areas you’ll find GA-KO 16-22.

Find the chamber with two waterfalls, between which is a cubby containing a Torch. This GA-KO is on a ledge above the torch, between the two waterfalls.

GA-KO 16 - Chyornaya Peschera Cave Branch

After the encounter at the Bolshaya Past Crevice you’ll end up in the Chyornaya Peschera Cave Branch. It’s initially quite dark and you have no way to see - either just wait until Snake’s night vision improves, or trek blindly in search of some illumination. In the case of this GA-KO, you can find it and a Torch in roughly the same place. From where you start, head east, then north to reach a second chamber, in which you’ll find a passage to the northwest that runs north into a room with two waterfalls. Between the waterfalls you can find a cubby with the Torch inside, but more importantly the GA-KO is on a ledge above the Torch, between the two waterfalls.

Along the southern edge of the chamber where you fight The Pain, in a hole on the ceiling.

GA-KO 17 - Chyornaya Peschera Cave Branch

Not to be confused with the Chyornaya Peschera Cave Branch (the first cave area you’ll enter following an encounter at Bolshaya Past Crevice), this is the second cave area, and it’s much simpler than the last one, especially since you should already have two sources of illumination. Follow either of the passages that run north until you reach a large, watery chamber where you’ll fight The Pain. Defeat him and swim to the northern end of the room to find a ledge that ropes around south along the eastern edge of the chamber. Head to the southern edge of the chamber and look up at the natural oculus on the roof allowing light to stream in. This GA-KO is hanging out on the edge of this ceiling-hole, catching some rays.

In the northernmost chamber of the Chyornaya Peschera Cave Entrance area, look up to find a rift in the ceiling, where this GA-KO hides.

GA-KO 18 - Chyornaya Peschera Cave Entrance

After defeating The Pain, exit north to reach the Chyornaya Peschera Cave Entrance. Make your way to the northern edge of this map and when you reach a chamber with a ramp spiraling down, look up to the north to spot a crevice above you. This GA-KO is well hidden along the edge of this crevice, with only a tiny bit of yellow beak betraying its location.

At the northern part of the Ponizovje South map, just after the mandrake canopy ends, on the left (west) coast. It’s easier to see from the north (pictured).

GA-KO 19 - Ponizovje South

Wade north through Ponizovje South, a largely uneventful trek under a canopy of mangroves. Once the mangroves open up to the sky again, keep your eyes to the left (west) to find this GA-KO on the shore. Didn’t see it? Once some stone pillars start to frame the stream you’re wading through, turn around south and backtrack the way you came, towards the mangroves, keeping your eye to the west (this time to the right) as you go. This GA-KO is much easier to spot while going south, as most of its camouflage is facing southeast, where you’re ill-equipped to spot it while trudging north.

On the edge of a stone wall overlooking a short wooden dock.

GA-KO 20 - Ponizovje West

Enter this area by following the stream in Ponizovje South to the north until it forks, at which point turn northwest to end up in Ponizovje West. From the entrance to this area, venture west until the water you’re in opens up, wade and swim west to find a dock you can climb up, deal with two guards, then head north along the dock. Once you go up some stairs, turn east and look up to spot this GA-KO on the edge of a stone wall, above another, smaller wooden dock. Be wary of a poisonous spider lurking around here. He’s a bitey jerk.

Head west from the entrance to this area to find a gate and a concrete wall. This GA-KO is on a ledge north of the gate.

GA-KO 21 - Ponizovje Warehouse: Exterior

From the entrance, wade/swim to the west to find a concrete wall and a gate. A Kerotan is clearly visible south of the gate, but this GA-KO is better hidden on the concrete wall to the north of the gate. Its camouflaged back is facing southeast, in order to see any of its tell-tale yellow you’ll need to get on a nearby dock and look over at the concrete wall this GA-KO is on.

Climb to Ponizovje Warehouse 3F and from the top of the stairs, turn southeast to find this GA-KO on a pipe.

GA-KO 22 - Ponizovje Warehouse

Sneak into the large warehouse room to the west (where you’ll actually find crates being stored) and climb the stairs to the north until you hit Ponizovje Warehouse 3F. From the top of this last flight of stairs, look southwest to find a pipe running around the edge of the room - this GA-KO is on the end of this pipe.

The GA-KO found on the Graniny Gorki 1F map,

and the Graniny Gorki B2 map.

Graniny Gorki South, Lab Exterior, and Lab GA-KO

You will find GA-KO 23-26 in the Graniny Gorki 1F map and GA-KO 27-28 in the Graniny Gorki B1 areas.

Search the center of the area to find a relatively short tree with gnarled branches rising up like a grasping hand. This GA-KO is atop the trunk of this tree, and can be spotted from the high ground to the northeast, or if you climb a nearby tree.

GA-KO 23 - Graniny Gorki South

In the center of the area you’ll find a relatively short tree with a snaggle of grasping branches jutting out of the top - from the south it almost looks like a grasping hand. Northwest of this shorter tree are two climbable trees (one on high ground), climb the one on lower ground and look southeast to spot this GA-KO atop the shorter tree. You can also spot it from the high ground to the northwest, but this GA-KO can’t be seen from the south. Be wary of the tripwire traps as you search this area!

When you enter the Graniny Gorki Lab Exterior 1F area, look up and slightly left to find this GA-KO on the roof of the building ahead, behind a fence.

GA-KO 24 - Graniny Gorki Lab Exterior 1F

One of the easier to spot GA-KOs we’ve had in a while, from the entrance look northwest to spot this on the roof of the building ahead, past the fence.

Head to the western edge of the Graniny Gorki Lab Exterior 1F area, crawl under an electric fence and look atop a street light to find this GA-KO.

GA-KO 25 - Graniny Gorki Lab Exterior 1F

Crawl through the gap under the wall to the west (near where you found Kerotan 24) and find a street light to the northeast. This GA-KO is on top of the street light, its tell-tale yellow color can be seen from the northwest, but its silhouette is easy enough to spot from almost any angle.

In the center of the Graniny Gorki Lab 1F area you’ll find an outdoor courtyard. Search the windows on the northern wall - this GA-KO is atop the middle one.

GA-KO 26 - Graniny Gorki Lab 1F

A return to form for these elusive GA-KOs, in the same eastern hallway where you’ll find Kerotan 26, go through the second (northernmost) door to the left to exit into a small exterior courtyard. Look above the middle window to the north to find this GA-KO blending in with the ivy growing along the building. This GA-KO is more visible from the interior of Graniny Gorki Lab 2F, but if you know where to look, there’s no need to wait.

Go down the eastern flight of stairs in the Graniny Gorki Lab 1F area to reach the Graniny Gorki Lab B1 (East) area. Head south down a hallway, enter the first door on the right, and search the corner of the room beyond to find this GA-KO on a bookshelf.

GA-KO 27 - Graniny Gorki Lab B1 (East)

Go down the eastern stairs in Graniny Gorki Lab 1F (just north of Kerotan 26) and when you arrive head south down a hallway until you find a door to your right. This GA-KO is inside, on a bookshelf in the northwestern corner of the room. The side facing you is camouflaged, but you’ll spot it fine if you know where to look.

Go down the western flight of stairs in the Graniny Gorki Lab 1F area to reach the Graniny Gorki Lab B1 (West) area. This GA-KO is in the corner of a room full of consoles past the rec room, behind a red chair.

GA-KO 28 - Graniny Gorki Lab B1 (West)

Go down the western flight of stairs in the Graniny Gorki Lab 1F area to reach Graniny Gorki Lab B1 (West). From the stairs, go down hallways to the north, south, west and north again until you find a door to the left (west) which leads to a rec room. Exit the rec room via a door to the north to reach a room with numerous computer consoles and two more scientists. This GA-KO is in the southeastern corner of the room, opposite of where you entered, on a desk just behind the chair.

All the GA-KO you can find in the Svyatogornyj, Sokrovenno and Krasnogorje Tunnel areas.

Svyatogornyj & Krasnogorje Tunnel GA-KO

GA-KO 29-35 will be found in the Svyatogornyj, Sokrovenno and Krasnogorje Tunnel areas. The GA-KO in the Sokrovenno areas (Sokrovenno South, Sokrovenno West and Sokrovenno North) can be found during or after the boss fight with The End, so you don’t need to be on the lookout for them while fighting the boss, if you’d prefer to just focus on the fight at hand.

From the exit to the Ponizovje Warehouse area, head northeast and climb a tree, then look into the forested ledge to the northeast to spot this well-hidden GA-KO.

A clearer view of this GA-KO through the binoculars.

GA-KO 29 - Svyatogornyj South

Perhaps the hardest GA-KO to find yet - a sign of things to come in these new jungle areas. From the entrance to the Ponizovje Warehouse head northeast to find a tree you can climb, get out onto the branch, then look northeast into the forest on a ledge beyond the bounds of the map. This GA-KO is very hard to spot in the foliage, you may want to equip the Binoculars to get a closer look, or use the images above as reference.

Northeast of the exit to Svyatogornyj South you’ll find an “island” of rock. This GA-KO is on the northeastern edge of this “island”, atop a broken trunk.

GA-KO 30 - Svyatogornyj West

From the exit to Svyatogornyj South, find an “island” of high ground just northeast. Circle around to the northern edge of this “island”, being wary of pit traps as you go. This GA-KO is atop the broken trunk of a tree along the northeastern edge of this “island”, past another tree stump.

Along the northeastern corner of the map is a building. This GA-KO is west of this building, on an impassable hill. It’s easier to spot from the north.

GA-KO 31 - Svyatogornyj East 1F

From the exit to Svyatogornyj West, go east until you find a fork, at which turn north. Ignore the first ledge to the right (east) you spot and continue north until you find another route east, and head downhill towards some buildings. Note the impassable high ground to the north - this GA-KO is atop this high ground. It’s hard to spot from the south, but if you sneak over towards a gun emplacement and look southwest you’ll be able to spot this GA-KO on the high ground easier.

On some cliffs along the northern edge of the Sokrovenno South map, between two exits, you’ll find this GA-KO relatively out in the open.

GA-KO 32 - Sokrovenno South

Along the northern edge of this map are numerous paths leading to Sokrovenno North and Sokrovenno West. Search the southern edge of the cliffs between the two center-most exits to Sokrovenno North to find this GA-KO relatively out in the open. You can find this during or immediately after the fight with The End.

Along the northwestern corner of the Sokrovenno West map you’ll find a stream. Stand in the stream and look north to find a cave, inside of which is this GA-KO.

GA-KO 33 - Sokrovenno West

Search the northwestern corner of the map to find a stream flowing out of a cave. Taking a cue from Kerotan 33, this GA-KO is also hiding in the watery cave, and is visible from the south if you’re standing in the water. Granted, its camouflaged back is facing south, but if you look closely enough you’ll see it.

In the Sokrovenno North area, search an “island” of rock along the northeastern corner of the map to find this GA-KO.

GA-KO 34 - Sokrovenno North

Along the northeastern corner of this map is an impassable “island” of rock. Search the southern face of this “island” while standing just east of a fallen, hollowed-out tree trunk to find this GA-KO. As usual, it’s camouflaged back is facing south, so it’s hard to see from most viewing angles, but once you know where to look its silhouette and just a smattering a yellow will give it away.

Climb the long, long ladder in the Krasnogorje Tunnel area and once you surmount it look atop a pipe to find this GA-KO.

GA-KO 35 - Krasnogorje Tunnel

After the long, long, long ladder climb, immediately look up and to the left (west) to spot this GA-KO atop a pipe. Naturally its camouflage will be facing you, making this collectible easier to spot from the north than the south.

All the GA-KO you can find in the Krasnogorje and Groznyj Grad Underground Tunnel areas.

Krasnogorje & Groznyj Grad Underground Tunnel GA-KO

You will find GA-KO 36-41 in the Krasnogorje and Groznyj Grad Underground Tunnel maps. You must find GA-KO 41 during the fight with The Fury, as once he’s defeated you won’t be able to explore the area anymore. In fact, all previous GA-KO become inaccessible after you defeat The Fury.

Head north over a broken, hilly stretch of barren land and keep your eyes to the left (west) to spot this GA-KO on a rock in the distance.

GA-KO 36 - Krasnogorje Mountain Base

From the exit to Krasnogorje Tunnel, head west and drop off a ledge (which marks a point of no return, by the way), then head north over the hilly, broken landscape ahead. Keep your eyes to the west, however, as you’ll find a boulder upon which this GA-KO rests.

From the exit to Krasnogorje Mountain Base, head northeast to find a cubby to the south and look up at the cliff to find some roots.

This GA-KO is on a ledge above the roots, which can be more clearly seen via your binoculars.

GA-KO 37 - Krasnogorje Mountainside

From the exit to the Krasnogorje Mountain Base, head northeast until you find a cubby in the cliffs where various boxes of ammo are stored (this will be to your right - south). Look up here to spot some roots protruding from the cliffs near a ledge. This GA-KO is on the ledge, near a bush, which helps camouflage it. You can see it easier (and closer) when you start to switchback up the mountain, but you can pick it off from below if you know where to look.

Head to the northernmost edge of the Krasnogorje Mountaintop map, stand near an artillery piece and look up at the cliff above you to see this GA-KO above a metal sheet.

A closer look at this GA-KO courtesy of the binoculars.

GA-KO 38 - Krasnogorje Mountaintop

Climb and crawl and sneak your way up to the northernmost edge of this map, where you’ll find an artillery piece. Stand next to (east of) this artillery piece and look up at the rocky slope above to find this GA-KO not far above you, just above a piece of sheet metal above the sandbags. As usual, its camouflage makes it rather hard to spot

After the cutscene in the Krasnogorje Mountaintop: Behind Ruins area, look south and down to spot this GA-KO out in the open on a snowy rock below you.

Binoculars will make this GA-KO easier to spot, but once you see it, any weapon should be capable of hitting it.

GA-KO 39 - Krasnogorje Mountaintop: Behind Ruins

Exit the Krasnogorje Mountaintop area to trigger a scene, after which you’ll be outside in the Krasnogorje Mountaintop: Behind Ruins area, looking norther at the base in the distance. Both GA-KO 39 and Kerotan 39 are within view at the moment, but they’re both fairly far away. In a rare turn, the GA-KO is easier to spot this time - look north and down to find this GA-KO on the snowy rocks ahead, not so far away that you can’t pop it with just about any handgun.

Head downstairs in the Krasnogorje Mountaintop Ruins area and look up at the upper left corner of the ceiling to spot this GA-KO in a hole in the roof.

GA-KO 40 - Krasnogorje Mountaintop Ruins

After the scene with Eva, get the Kerotan and GA-KO in the Krasnogorje Mountaintop: Behind Ruins area, then backtrack into the Krasnogorje Mountaintop Ruins. Go downstairs, turn left (east) and look through a hole in the roof to find this GA-KO. It’s not even showing its camouflaged back to you! A generous, easy-to-find GA-KO after a few sneaky ones in the mountains.

Along the southwestern edge of the Groznyj Grad Underground Tunnel area, during the fight with The Fury. It’s in an impassable tunnel to the west, on a pipe.

GA-KO 41 - Groznyj Grad Underground Tunnel

You will need to find this GA-KO during the fight with The Fury - you won’t be able to explore the area after the fight. Once the battle begins, head to the southwestern edge of the arena (just the tunnels to which you’re now confined, not the part before the ladder that led to the cutscene with The Fury). Once you’re in the right area, look into the holes to the west, just off the map, to find this GA-KO on a pipe. Pretty easy to spot, it’s even facing you, for a change!

(1 of 3) All the GA-KO you can find on the Grosnyj Grad 1F,

Grosnyj Grad 1F, 2F, B1F & Sewers GA-KO

This part of the game is somewhat complicated as far as GA-KO go, as you’ll come and go to Grosnyj Grad at several points, where different GA-KO will be available. During your first visit you can - and should - find GA-KO 42-48, after which you’ll find yourself in Tikhogornyj before returning to Grosnyj Grad, where you can get at least some of the previous GA-KO (42-48) if you missed them earlier. Best not to need to do this, just to be safe. During your second visit you can now get GA-KO 51 and 52. Before you plant the final C3 explosive, make sure you have every GA-KO in this area, as you cannot go back to get any previous GA-KO after this point. GA-KO 52 must be found during the battle with Volgin. After that, you will be in the infamous Eva chase sequence, where you can get GA-KO 53-61. Technically GA-KO 60 and 61 are in the Lazorevo South and Lazorevo North areas, but they don’t have maps and are contiguous with the other GA-KO in the chase sequences. The maps provided above are for Grosnyj Grad 1F, 2F, B1F & Sewers, including the Groznyj Grad Rail Bridge where you fight the Shagohod, but most of the areas during the chase sequence do not have maps.

This GA-KO can be found atop the roof of the “65” mechanical bay, along the western edge of the Groznyj Grad 1F (Southwest) area.

GA-KO 42 - Groznyj Grad 1F (Southwest)

From where you enter after arriving from Groznyj Grad Underground Tunnel, head west until you find several numbered mechanical bays. Look for “65” - this GA-KO is on the roof, fairly easy to spot from the south. Bay 65 has a truck parked out front, and is the northeasternmost of the mechanical bays.

You’ll find this GA-KO in the southern part of the Groznyj Grad 1F (Southeast) area, atop a post with sirens on it.

GA-KO 43 - Groznyj Grad 1F (Southeast)

After shooting GA-KO 42 and Kerotan 42, head to the eastern edge of the Groznyj Grad 1F (Southwest) area to find a hole at the bottom of the wall you can crawl through to reach Groznyj Grad 1F (Southeast). When you emerge, you’ll be in the southern edge of the Groznyj Grad 1F (Southeast) area. Stand up and look southwest to find some sirens in the corner near where you entered, atop of which is this GA-KO. Convenient!

Enter the Torture Room building in Groznyj Grad 1F (Southeast) and from the entrance turn right and enter the nearby room to find this GA-KO on a shelf near the ceiling.

GA-KO 44 - Groznyj Grad Torture Room

Enter the building along the west-center of Groznyj Grad 1F (Southeast) to reach the Groznyj Grad Torture Room area. From the entrance, turn right and enter the first room. This GA-KO can be found on a shelf near the ceiling in the corner of the cell.

Along the eastern edge of the Groznyj Grad 1F (Northeast) area, on the corner of a fence surrounding a watch tower.

GA-KO 45 - Groznyj Grad 1F (Northeast)

If you’re entering Groznyj Grad 1F (Northeast) after nabbing Kerotan 44, you’ll surface from a hole along the northern edge of this section of map, from where you need to go west, then south along a fence, avoiding spotlights and guards as a you go. In any event, your destination is a caged-off area housing a watch tower along the eastern edge of this area. This GA-KO is sitting atop the barbed wire covered fence southwest of the watchtower.

Along the southern half of the Groznyj Grad 1F (Northwest) area, on a tank.

GA-KO 46 - Groznyj Grad 1F (Northwest)

Along the southern half of this area are two rows of tanks. This GA-KO is atop one of the tanks.

Search a planter in the southwestern edge of the Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: East Wing building to find this GA-KO.

GA-KO 47 - Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: East Wing

In the southeastern corner of the building - the lounge on the first floor - you’ll find a planter. This GA-KO is hiding among the plants, and it’s not as well camouflaged as it thinks it is.

In the Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: West Wing building, near the sealed door look through the window to the left to spot this GA-KO.

GA-KO 48 - Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: West Wing

To reach this area you must find and incapacitate Raikov (the white-haired officer) in the Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: East Wing, then drag him upstairs and into the room with the lockers (south of where you can find Kerotan 47). Once done a scene will trigger and you’ll get the “Officer” uniform and the “Mask” face. Don’t put them on yet, but exit through a door in the southwestern corner of the locker room to reach Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: Main Wing and go through there to reach Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: West Wing Corridor. Incapacitate the guards by the door, then head up to them and look out the window to the left to spot this GA-KO outside, on a window sill. Exit out to Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: Main Wing, put on the Officer and Mask camouflage, then head back in and approach the new guards to trigger a scene.

All the GA-KO you can find in the Tikhogornyj maps.

Tikhogornyj GA-KO

After you visit Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: West Wing you’ll get quite a lot of scenes that end with Snake losing his gear, which means you can’t collect any GA-KO at this point in time. You’ll recover them after another scene in the Tikhogornyj: Behind Waterfall area, after which you can get the GA-KO 49 in the Tikhogornyj map and GA-KO 50 in the Tikhogornyj: Behind Waterfall map. After you climb the ladder in Tikhogornyj: Behind Waterfall you won’t be able to get either f these GA-KO.

After the scene behind the waterfall, exit back out through the waterfall to the Tikhogornyj area and now that you have your weapons aim northeast to find this GA-KO on the cliffs near the waterfall.

GA-KO 49 - Tikhogornyj

After the scenes in the Tikhogornyj: Behind Waterfall area, exit back out into Tikhogornyj and immediately turn northeast to spot this GA-KO on the other side of the waterfall.

In the Tikhogornyj: Behind Waterfall area, from the entrance near the waterfall go down a tunnel to the north, past a gate, and when you reach a second gate search behind it to find this GA-KO.

GA-KO 50 - Tikhogornyj: Behind Waterfall

From the entrance near the waterfall, head north up a tunnel, pass a locked gate, and when you find a second locked gate look through it to find this GA-KO on a crate.

From the entrance, head up some stairs to the right and search the rafters to find this GA-KO.

Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: Main Wing and Groznyj Grad B1F GA-KO

As mentioned earlier, at this point you can get GA-KO 51 and GA-KO 52 in previously inaccessible areas in Groznyj Grad. You may also be able to get some of the earlier GA-KO (GA-KO 42-48) in Groznyj Grad, but it’s best if you don’t need to. Once you plant all four C3 explosives you will not be able to get any previous GA-KO in the game. GA-KO 52 can only be obtained during the boss battle with Volgin.

GA-KO 51 - Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: Main Wing

Backtrack here (once you enter via the same door you used in Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: East Wing you’ll get a scene where Snake opens the door) and immediately take a right and head up some stairs to find yourself on a walkway. Head left (west) down this walkway a bit but keep looking up at the rafters to spot this GA-KO hiding atop them.

During the fight with Volgin, immediately turn right to find this GA-KO on some caged machinery.

GA-KO 52 - Groznyj Grad B1F

Once the boss battle with Volgin starts, immediately look right to spot this GA-KO on some caged machinery.

Groznyj Grad and Lazorevo Chase Sequence GA-KO

The next several GA-KO (GA-KO 53-61) are found during a chase sequence with Eva. Be sure to save your game every time you reach a new scene just in case you miss something… and you probably will - expect to reload a few times for each of these collectibles. Depending on the collectible in question we may recommend different weapons for them - the SVD is the MVP for many of these, but sometimes the RPG-7 or the shotgun will prove useful. The best weapon to use in each case may be a matter of preference or player skill, so don’t be afraid to try new things if you’re having trouble with what we recommend.. If you’re in doubt whether you hit something, just go into the menu screen and look at the bottom right to see how many Kerotan and GA-KOs you have - they’ll increment as you hit them. If you miss one, reload and try again. You keep your progress if you load, so if you make saves regularly, you can save/load until you get them all no matter how many tries it takes. As a general rule, you cannot go back to get any of these Kerotan and GA-KO, so once the screen transitions to a new area, you’ve missed the previous collectibles pending a reload. There is no map for most of these collectibles, save for the two at the Grosnyj Grad Rail Bridge, which is provided earlier in this guide.

In the first scene of the chase sequence, during Eva’s second stop, look up and left to spot this GA-KO on a guard tower.

GA-KO 53 - Groznyj Grad

Shortly after the first stop (where you can get Kerotan 53) Eva will stop again. Turn left to spot another watchtower where you’ll find this GA-KO.

In the Groznyj Grad Runway South, during the Eva chase sequence, look right to spot this GA-KO on a barrel when Eva stops. There’s also a Kerotan on a forklift to the left.

GA-KO 54 - Groznyj Grad Runway South

When Eva stops for the first time, look right to find this GA-KO on some barrels. There’s also a Kerotan to the left on a forklift - you should have plenty of time to hit both.

On the Groznyj Grad Runway screen of the Eva chase sequence, aim ahead and to the left to spot this GA-KO on the “11” sign just off the runway. Use the SVD to take shots at it and reload if you don’t hit it.

GA-KO 55 - Groznyj Grad Runway

When you start this map, aim and Snake should automatically turn around and face his pursuers. As you aim, look right off the side of the runway and you’ll spot some numbered signs. The Kerotan is atop the “7” sign and the GA-KO is atop the “11” sign. You will probably need a few attempts to get these, as you will need to shoot while Eva drives - the SVD is your best bet at hitting anything due to its passable fire rate. For this GA-KO in particular you will need to sweep your aim right far enough that you’re aiming over Eva, looking ahead to the right (instead of back and to the right, which works better for the Kerotan), as the “11” marker is near the area transition. If you’re looking forward you’ll get time to take quite a few shots at this GA-KO. Make sure you have 55 GA-KO collected when you exit this scene, and if not, reload. We set the aim sensitivity up to 2.0 for this.

On the second screen of the Groznyj Grad Runway area during the Eva chase sequence, aim ahead and to the right to spot the silhouette of this GA-KO on a guardrail between the “25” and “26” markers. Again, use the SVD for your best odds of success.

GA-KO 56 - Groznyj Grad Runway

The second screen of the Groznyj Grad Runway. More of the same here, equip the SVD and this time use the direction Eva is driving for orientation. Aim ahead and to your right - you’re looking for signs “25” and “26”. This GA-KO is on a guardrail between the two, but it’s camouflaged back is facing the runway. Just shoot at anything dark sticking up from the guardrail and hope for the best.

At the Groznyj Grad Rail Bridge screen, before the Shagohod arrives, aim at the snowy cliffs to the right of the bridge at about the level of the surface of the bridge to find this GA-KO.

GA-KO 57 - Groznyj Grad Rail Bridge

Before the Shagohad tries to cross the rail bridge, stand up and look at the cliffs to the right of the bridge, above level with the surface of the bridge itself. You’ll find this GA-KO on these snow-covered cliffs, facing you, so its yellow face should stand out. Hit it with the SVD.

During the second phase of the fight with the Shagohod, while on foot. Head to the southern edge of the area, near the collapsed bridge, and look down to find this GA-KO on the bridge’s wreckage.

GA-KO 58 - Groznyj Grad Rail Bridge

During the second phase of the fight with Shagohod, when Snake is on foot. Head south towards the collapsed bridge and look down to find this GA-KO over the edge, on the remnants of the bridge.

During the chase sequence in Groznyj Grad Rail Bridge North, after you pass through a tunnel, keep aiming at head to spot a watchtower that’ll come into view. This GA-KO is on the front fender of a truck parked to the left of the base of the watch tower.

GA-KO 59 - Groznyj Grad Rail Bridge North

After the brief reprieve of being able to take your time and pick off Kerotan 58 and GA-KO 58 while a tank tried to flatten you, we’re in another vehicle segment. This time you’ll need to wait a good while before you get your chance at some action. Eventually Eva will drive through a tunnel - wait until you see a watch tower in the distance, after which you’ll find some trucks ahead of you. Aim at the one right next to (on the ground to the left of) the watch tower and hit the GA-KO on the front fender!

During the chase sequence in Lazorevo South, midway through the level, keep your aim ahead and to the left to spot this GA-KO on a fallen tree branch.

GA-KO 60 - Lazorevo South

This section provides us with some fun opportunities - there won’t be any enemies ahead of us and given the speed Eva is driving, you’ll have to be aiming forward for these, meaning there’s no risk whatsoever of killing an enemy, meaning you can use spray-and-pray weapons, a shotgun, or even the RPG-7 if you’d rather leave this more up to luck than skill. This GA-KO is partway through the area, so if you miss it it’ll take a moment or two after reloading before you get another shot at it. Aim forward and your eyes slightly to the left to spot this Kerotan atop a fallen, horizontal tree branch as you go - we ended up hitting it with the shotgun, as hitting the branch while driving is a fair bit trickier than hitting the boulder for Kerotan 60 was.

During the chase sequence in Lazorevo North, after Kerotan 61 on the rocks ahead and to the left, aim ahead and to the right at a rock in the river to find this GA-KO.

GA-KO 61 - Lazorevo North

Shortly after you take a shot at Kerotan 61 on a rock to the left, aim right (while facing forward, in the direction Eva is driving) and look for this somewhat camouflaged GA-KO on a boulder in the river. It’s not that hard to hit with either an RPG or the shotgun. Since GA-KO 61 and Kerotan 61 are both near the start of the area, it’s rather painless to make a few attempts at these.

All the GA-KO you can find on the Zaozyorje and Rokovoj Bereg maps.

Zaozyorje & Rokovoj Bereg GA-KO

For the last three GA-KO (GA-KO 62-64) you will be in the Zaozyorje & Rokovoj Bereg areas. The first two are found in Zaozyorje West and Zaozyorje East, and are fairly standard save for the fact that you’re escorted Eva around on foot. Make sure she stays close and feed her to keep her stamina up - if you run off and leave her behind to hunt for these, you may run into complications. The final GA-KO is found during the fight with The Boss in the Rokovoj Bereg map, and must be obtained before the battle ends.

After a cutscene partway through Zaozyorje West, take a fork to the west and you’ll need to cross a log bridge. Atop this bridge look down and to the west to spot this GA-KO below you.

GA-KO 62 - Zaozyorje West

At the start of this area you’ll need to cure both Eva and Snake, after which trudge along the linear path east and south to trigger a scene. Following this you’ll be in “Caution” status for the rest of the map, so be wary of pursuers spawning behind you and ensure Eva is following you and kept healed and fed. At a fork following this cutscene, turn west until you have to cross a log bridge. While standing on this log, look down and to the west to spot this GA-KO below you.

Near the northeastern exit to Zaozyorje East, turn northwest and look at the cliff nearby to find this penultimate GA-KO.

GA-KO 63 - Zaozyorje East

Unlike the last area, enemies won’t be spawning behind you, but you’ll still have the “Caution” statue. Otherwise things will work the same way - summon Eva when the coast is clear and keep her wounds healed and her belly full as you make your way towards the exit to the northeast. When you reach the northeastern clearing near the exit, be wary of enemies lurking about waiting to ambush you. Pick them off, near the exit, but don’t actually leave yet. From near the exit turn northeast to spot this GA-KO hiding on a cliff.

During the fight with The Boss, look up at the tops of the trees in the area to find this GA-KO - it’ll be northeast of the center of the map.

GA-KO 64 - Rokovoj Bereg

There are a number of trees in this battlefield, this GA-KO is atop one northeast of the center of the map. When in doubt, just look up at the top of every tree until you spot it.
