Return the letter to the house in Bamboo Courtyard where you received the Courtyard Key.

The letter features a few crookedly written words. “Fine shears the smithies forge for my sister, then off they trot to the bustling tavern. Rest, my dear, she whispers to me: yet here I must linger, deep down in the cavern…”

Shaft: After you defeat the boss at Treasure Trove, don’t go down the Shaft just yet. Instead, head around the back and you’ll find the Bloodied Paper.

Give to Fang Yao.

“…Object acquired. Heading to Cloudspire posthaste. Have Duke Liu send men to meet us…”

Snowfall Palace: After going up on the large lift, you’ll find it in the corner of the room.

I’ve sent my subordinates to the palace… Keep a close eye on the Burning Cave and make sure no one catches wind of it. Once the relic is secured, we’ll meet at the Reverent Temple. Hope… treasure this moment and wait for the good news. Honglan gave a satisfied nod to himself.

Shu Sanctum: On the top floor, outside the boss room.

After you defeat Mistress of the Night - Huang Yan at Treasure Trove, don’t go down the Shaft just yet, instead, head around the back, and you’ll find the Bloodied Paper. Take the lift down now, and if you’ve collected the letter, you’ll run into Fang Yao.

Legends claim that this painting is one of Guo Xi’s works from the Song Dynasty. He was famous for landscape paintings with exquisite brushstrokes and composition. After passing through many hands over the years, the Tao Family purchased it for a handsome sum and kept it in Annalum. It’s now a Tao Family heirloom.

Annalum: Defeat the Red-Eyed Fat Man - Shackles.

This key is at least a century old judging from its state. The words ‘Great Feathered One’ are faintly visible on the plaque hanging from the key, with the word ‘Bo’ being carved into the back.

Shu Sanctum: Defeat Feathered Priest - Lu Bingzhang.

The key to the Reverent Temple’s side gates. Having attained a relic, the Imperial Guards headed to Cloudspire in secret. Some households behind the Reverent Temple might have more information.

Palace Hill: Defeat Commander - Honglan.

A rough copper key seemingly able to open a set of gates at Zhenwu Temple. The temple has been under lockdown and guard ever since the rebels attacked. No one outside now knows what goes on within the temple walls.

Zhenwu Antechamber: Defeat South General - Liu Wenxiu.

The performers of Worship’s Rise once made their home in the Courtyard, but fled when the rebels stormed in, looting and destroying everything in their path.

Worship’s Rise: Talk to the door at the end of the path in the Bamboo Courtyard.

A crude key that seems to open a set of doors at the Rebel Camp. The rebels have been locked in a war against the Ming army in Cloudspire for months, and the previously brave and belligerent Ai Nengqi, has locked himself into his tent. No one knows what has caused this sudden change in his nature.

Palace Hill: From the shrine, go down the path, turn left across the pathway, and then follow the path down and right. Go through the room, and continue towards the dead end to find the pickup.

Take it to the statue above the Palace Hill shrine where the pagoda overlooks the Lotus Pond.

A sparkling crystal of ice that is cold to the touch. The late Emperor used it to stave off heat and fever before later bestowing it upon his favorite concubine. It is unknown how it came to be in Honglan’s possession, however.

Palace Pass: Beat Vermilion Feathers - Honglan in Chapter 4.

A bowl of pure gold, rumored to be stolen by Dhutanga from the Shu Sanctum. Worth its weight in gold, it has long been coveted by Wu Gang, who dares not act on his greed for fear of invoking Dhutanga’s wrath.

A copper incense burner. The Tang Emperor often summoned monks and Taoists to his palace to help him avoid disasters and prolong his life. The Tang Emperor believed ambergris was the key to contacting the gods, and if mixed with red mercury incense from Shu, one would succeed in comprehending the path of immortality.

Palace Way: At the tortoise statue in the garden, after progressing through the fortified area and up the hill into the cave. You’ll find a grove with the Tortoise statue on the right.

A token shaped in the likeness of Zhenwu Temple, engraved with the female Taoist name “Qingyuan.” Rumor holds that its possessor can summon divine generals and exorcise evil spirits. Yet, for reasons unknown, the token is shrouded in a powerful aura of malevolent energy.

Bandit’s Cave: Defeat Blightweaver - Great Centipede.

A personal belonging of Qiao Lin. Its surface stained with blood, Qiao Ying received this amulet upon praying at the Shu Sanctum. Claimed to ward off evil and act as a bane to demonkind, it offers blessing and hope. Yet, if even the mightiest Buddhas cannot quell the demons, this amulet may well be nothing more than a cruel hoax.

Speak to Qiao Lin at the Reverent Temple.

Shu Sanctum: Go up the stairs from the shrine to find Qiao Ying and hand over the Amulet.

An old copper lamp, its surface somewhat rusted. A light source fueled by vegetable oil. One of the elderly brought it into the Mort Grotto to stave off the darkness. Yet, the rebels are more terrible than all the darkness in the world. The rebels occupied the mines and plundered the lands, including the Mort Grotto.

Mort Grotto: Take the slope up to the left of the lift (when facing it), and make your way outside where you can’t miss this.

A rare red mercury crystal mined in Cloudspire. Snowfall was bereft of its mining rights after the rebels claimed the mines. The treasurer of the palace claimed it as his own, and Zhenwu Temple has yet to reclaim it.

Snowpeak Pass: Give Li Wansan the Zhenwu Tome that Huang Jian’e gave you.

A type of jewelry women often wear on their wrists. A bracelet made of corals that symbolize peace. Times of chaos bring oppression and strife, and no amount of jewelry can appease the dead.

An ivory belt token engraved with a name and title. While it symbolizes status, it also serves as a conduit for power. Bai Tingzhao sought only to serve his nation, yet he was manipulated by those in power, leaving him consumed by obsession.

Bai Mansion: Check the note of the father’s grave in the tunnel to the left of the shrine.

Give the token to Yu Xia during Chapter 4, Reverent Temple, as part of a quest choice.

Snowy Passage: Where Wu Gang is - go across the bridge and defeat the Daxi Archer (Elite).

A silk scarf embroidered with flowers. Upon it is written a short poem about camellias and Spring. Being unable to say goodbye to her father, it was the only thing the girl could do to leave this token behind.

Hillswatch: Go up until you can go left and over a bridge. Follow the path down to a grave, glowing with a purple mist. You can use the Examine pose to get the item.

Give to Fao Yang at Cloudspire City.

An expensive fan made from the highest-quality silk belonging to Fang Ling. The sisters never abandoned hope, not even in the shaft. Unfortunately, the beautiful future written upon it never came to be.

Shaft: Drops from Chimera - Fang Ling.

Snowfall’s primary trade revolves around selling secret medicines. They’ve conducted business with numerous forces and merchants, amassing great wealth from these deals, which has only bolstered their influence.

A tattered pack crafted from a patchwork of worn fabrics, reflecting the life of its owner—one who grew up dependent on the Bai family. It’s packed with various damaged belongings, yet a sharp sword is secured to the top. The blade resembles the weapon of a legendary hero.

Give to Nian Suichang to receive the Sorry Pose.

The package contains a few items commonly used at sea. A well-preserved letter has been tucked inside the lining, and while it has no signature, the script is elegant and womanly. “This journey… may well be against the Heavens. Yet, you will find me at Worship’s Rise if you so choose.”

Buddha Cliffs: After the Tang Palace Maid, you’ll find a pink item among the bamboo opposite the cave exit.

Hand to He Youzai at Doomwillow Beach.

A simple brocade bag featuring the character for Summer. The inner lining holds two strands of hair tied together in an intricate knot, a symbol of the love and union of two souls. That which Honglan seeks is none other than Yu Xia.

A porcelain bowl marred by a sharp crack and dried blood. While crafting porcelain bowls is an ancient Shu tradition, these particular bowls are more a curse than a blessing for the elderly abandoned in the shadows of Mort Grotto.

Mort Grotto: When you exit via the slope (past the Elder Treant), you’ll find a small platform leading up to a seemingly dead end. Speak to the wall here (look for the button prompt), and you will receive the bowl.

Give to Matchstick, one of the Great Yonder Gang members at Cloudspire City.

Qiao Ying, the oracle of Worship’s Rise, mastered the art of divination, drawing messages from the sand as she communed with the divine. After the birth of her child, she devoted herself entirely to her craft. As time passed, her true name faded from memory, and she became known simply as “The Oracle.”

Reverant Temple - Chapter 4: Found on the grass behind the Shrine.

This item belongs to the exclusive collection of the Pavilion of Knowledge, available only to a privileged few. Contains the Zhenwu Temple’s research on red mercury and elaborates on secret recipes for making elixirs and pills.

A nigh impregnable fortress destroyed by a single secret missive to lower the drawbridge from within. When flames light the three beacons, doom shall descend upon those within.

Cloudspire Outskirts: Speak to Qiao Ying and agree to her request to get this.

The journal of Snowfall Palace’s Mad Doctor details the gruesome process of assembling limbs to create their ‘bride.’ Snowfall Palace rose to power through the wealth gained from extracting and trading red mercury from their mines, which also fueled the Mad Doctor’s experiments. The secret technique, however, seems to have come from a long-lost notebook found in Snowfall Palace.

Shaft Entrance: As you work your way down, you’ll either find a room full of maid corpses and a locked door, or the Advanced Feathered Mad Doctor, depending on your choices. The notes are on a table in the room.

Give to Xuanyangzi or He Youzai.

These incomplete experimental notes were written many years ago, yet recently supplemented. They hint at Snowfall Palace’s resurrection method which is believed to be tied to events involving the Bai family from years past. A curious object seems to have played a crucial role in the resurrection process.

Simply relying on red mercury is not enough to bring the deceased back to life. One writer once ventured into a dangerous place and stole a curious object, but the resurrected one still turned into a monster. In the end, relying solely on that object proves futile.

The writer notes that, in addition to the object, a ceremony is necessary to bring the soul of the deceased back into their body. It seems the writer was eager to test his theory, leaving this hurried record before quickly moving on.

Reverant Temple - Chapter 4: If you have followed Fang Yao’s quest, you will find her at the temple during your return to Worship’s Rise in Ruins, to the left of the temple entrance, where the young bot once stood. Talk to her for the Research Scraps 3 and the Ring of Samsara.

You can choose to hand the journal to He Youzai, or not, which will impact story progression.

A missive detailing the secrets of the rebels, though much of its text is obscured by bloodstains. “Liu Wenxiu has secured the relic and will soon perform the ritual at Zhenwu Temple. This concludes my report; I await your command…”

Avian Dwelling: Proceed from the Avian Marsh Shrine shortcut above. Continue walking the pathway onward towards the tree branch paths until it leads inside a broad, large tree, guarded by two enemies. The pickup is on the right inside the tree.

Hand it to Li Dingo by the Zhenwu ANtechamber shrine.

An old and worn wooden strip upon which is written a story of life and death. Honglan found it during his search of Shu and handed it over to Duke Liu for safekeeping.
