These incomplete experimental notes appear to have been written in haste, possibly recently. The writer notes that, in addition to the object, a ceremony is necessary to bring the soul of the deceased back into their body. It seems the writer was eager to test his theory, leaving this hurried record before quickly moving on.

Reverant Temple - Chapter 4: If you have followed Fang Yao’s quest, you will find her at the temple during your return to Worship’s Rise in Ruins, to the left of the temple entrance, where the young bot once stood. Talk to her for the Research Scraps 3 and the Ring of Samsara.
Where to Use
You can choose to hand the journal to He Youzai, or not, which will impact story progression.
