Thankfully, it’s super easy to relearn moves in Pokémon SV, meaning you can really play around with different builds and find a playstyle that suits you and your team!
How to Learn Moves¶
When your Pokémon levels up, occasionally it’ll learn a new move. Since Pokémon can only have four moves in their moveset at any given time, you’ll often have to have your Pokémon forget moves in order to learn the new ones. This can sometimes feel like a tough decision to make because what if you regret learning the new move?!
When your Pokémon is learning a new move, it’ll have to forget one too.
Changing your Pokémon’s Moves¶
In order to relearn or change your Pokémon’s moves, you’ll need to first open up your Pokémon’s Pokémon Status Summary. This can be done by opening up your team and selecting the Pokémon of your choice then clicking Check Summary.
Open up your Pokémon’s summary.
Once on the Pokémon Status Summary page, scroll over to the Moves and Stats tab. Then, press 
to “Change Moves”. Here you’ll find a list of all moves your Pokémon knows from levelling up. If you’ve forgotten moves, you’ll find them in this list and you could even reinstate them if you wanted.
You can also learn moves through TMs on this tab, so long as the TMs are compatible with the Pokémon in question.
You can now switch between all the moves that your Pokémon knows and alter its moveset!
