Side with Halfdan or Faravid?¶

During Of Blood and Bonds, Halfdan will accuse Faravid of poisoning him with cups made of lead.

Is Faravid a Traitor?¶

At this point you will need to decide to take the side of Halfdan or Faravid, with the following two choices:

“You are insane, Halfdan.”¶

This choice leads Halfdan to name both Eivor and Faravid as traitors. However, the lead poisoning sends Halfdan into a mad craze, at the end of which he tosses his hammer aside. Faravid states that he will not follow a king who considers him a traitor, and leaves with his life.

“Stand down or fight me, Faravid.”¶

This leads to a direct conflict during which Eivor fights Faravid. At the end of the fight, Halfdan will kill Faravid and will be consumed by grief, but he will pledge himself and Eurvicscire to fight for Eivor when the time comes.
