As you explore Ginormosia and progress in the main story, in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, you will unlock Strangelings that turn into Buddies. These Buddies can help you in all facets of the game, like combat, gathering and crafting. While there are 49 Strangelings, the in-game 
Encyclopedia has a 50th spot in the Buddies list, indicating a secret one. Of course, for those who played the original game, this secret Buddy is someone that should be quite familiar, but you’ll have to wait until you complete the main story before having a chance to unlock them.
Yuelia is a secret Buddy that can be unlocked after finishing the main story.
How to Unlock Yuelia¶
Before you can do anything, you will need to have completed the main story in Fantasy Life i. Once you do that, you will be returned to your base camp, which is where you want to be. Go to the Goddess Statue and you will see a butterfly there now, so speak to it to learn its name is Flutter. This butterfly will ask you to harvest 50 
Golden Celestia’s Gifts for it, which when handed over, will turn Flutter into 
Yuelia, the last remaining Buddy.
However, this isn’t something that will be over with quickly, as the Golden 
Celestia’s Gifts work similar to the blue flowers. There are a few caveats, though, as the golden flowers only spawn on your own island, and you cannot visit other players’ islands online to get more, unlike with the blue flowers. You can collect up to five golden flowers per day, just like with the blue flowers, meaning it will take you at least 10 days to get the necessary amount to unlock Yuelia.
How to Get Golden Celestia’s Gifts¶
So, the golden flowers spawn every day at your base camp, just like with the blue flowers. It should be noted that your Island Rating needs to be maxed out for them to spawn first. You can speak to the Goddess Statue and choose that option to learn what to do to increase your rating. Returning to the gold flowers, if you don’t do anything at all, then you’ll likely only get 1-2 of them each day, which is not optimal. In order to get more, you’ll have to interact with your Buddies at your base camp. Do their requests when they pop up, as well as give them presents (the rarer, the better), and you can increase the gold flower received daily.
After getting all 50 of the Golden Celestia’s Gifts, return to Flutter to hand them in. This will do the usual “revert Strangeling” animation with the statue, revealing your last Buddy, Yuelia! She is a Magician and comes fully powered up, so you won’t need to go to any Treasure Groves to get Souped Up Strangelings. Her max affinity skill is a +10% item drop rate increase!
