How To Start The Unique Unicorn in Hogwarts Legacy¶

After you’ve completed the Main Story Quests “The Elf, The Nab-Sack and The Loom” and Tomes and Tribulations’’ you’ll be able to speak with Betty Bugbrooke who can be found standing in Hogsmeade Square. She seems worried as her dear friend Hazel the Unicorn has disappeared.

How To Rescue Hazel The Unicorn¶

Once you’ve finished speaking with Betty, travel over to the Upper Hogsfield Floo Flame, then hop onto your Broom and fly northwest until you reach the Unicorn Den. Here you’ll want to set up a Spell Set with the following: Nab-Sack, Levioso and Disillusionment. You’ll now want to cast Disillusionment, so that Hazel won’t be able to see you coming, then slowly walk into the den.

the use the Levioso and the Nab-Sack to capture Hazel.

Target all the Unicorns in the area until you find one named Hazel The Unicorn, then Levioso on it to prevent her from running away. Whilst Hazel is levitated use the Nab-Sack and quickly press on Playstation and on Xbox multiple times until she is safely placed into the sack. If Levioso wears off before it is captured, then you should still have a couple seconds before it can run off.

Return to Betty in Hogsmeade Square and give her the good news about Hazel, then you’ll be presented with two options. “We’re fine and yes, I do.” or “We’re fine and yes - for a fee”. Choosing the second option will simply give you 500 Gold for your troubles. With the quest completed you’ll be able to bring Hazel to your Vivarium in the Room of Requirement where she’ll be safe from Poachers.
